We ate at Pita Land this evening and it was an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a chicken shawarma box to share... with my wife, which was really just a few scoops of rice and a medium measuring cup of chicken. Yes, they actually measure outthe amount of chicken and weigh it before putting it in the box. Even with some garlic sauce, it was still extremely bland. Definitely not worth the $10 plus tax. I understand that it's "fast food", but the moment I see employees using measuring cupsto figure out how much to put in, it's a big red flag that the food's below average. I don't see the same thing happening atOsmow's or Tangy n' Tasty. I could spend the same amount at Tangy n' Tasty downtown Guelph and have enough to share with mywife, plus leftovers for the next day. Read more

Consistently tasty food and AMAZING customer service from all staff. I have developed a fairly regimented shawarma diet because... of this place. As far as price goes - in Guelph, the price is usually higher and in my experience the customer service is lowerthan other towns - I will gladly pay for amazing and sincere service. My daughter went here and received poor service and attitude from a new staff member. The store and employee have since... apologized. Their Operations Manager ,as well as, Malik, have provided Exceptional Customer Service. I understand people arenew and need assistance/training so I am giving them a zero for service on that day but a five for recognizing and fixing aproblem. Awesome follow up from Malik at the Stone Road location. Look forward to trying it once again. Read more
