The prices are very reasonable. It was my first time here. I had wings. They were pretty good - they were served very hot. They... add a 3% "honest to goodness fee" to the bill. Service is always great, my father, brother and I go once a month and all the servers are so kind. Parking is outstanding with... tons of spots to the left of the building. The food is good, although I recently have noticed when I get chucks nachos ithasn't had much cheese on it at times. The order was messed up too recently but it wasn't trouble at all as that's the firstI've ever had any issue. Seating time is fast usually, I've never seen people waiting for a table for more than 2 minutes atmost. Environment has no issues, i never find it loud or messy at all. The food here is always ok/good nothing outstanding but enjoyable. BUT tonight the service was excellent beyond reason. My... sister and I went sat and ordered and the waiter did an outstanding job ????. Before I could even say maybe I have anotherwater/ pop he was already asking us if we wanted new ones, also brought out our food and did excellent over all. He even jokedaround with us which made our night! We will definitely be coming back not only because the food prices are great but because wehad amazing service and it was worth every cent. Visited this location for lunch during a hot hot day and tried the patio but it was too hot.. the bar was pretty busy was but we... were able to find a sticky table near the entrance. I really want to like Chucks but every time it seems to be the same... theservice is great but the beer is flat and food is not good... the extra little petty surcharge is just silly. I have no problemtipping servers 20% and if the ownership wants that extra $2.71 just up the price of the food and call it a day. The food wasreally not good.. the sweet potato fries were soft and squishy and wings and chicken seemed like it was reheated. 5 stars forthe server as she worked the bar and the entire seating area and was running all over the place and was putting a smile on everypersons face.. but c'mon just at least get the beer flowing right... it was hot hot day. This was my first time at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and it was amazing. We were assisted by a great female staff member, her name... was Mikayla. She was very friendly, professional and helpful. She provided great suggestions and helped me by explaining themenu items and to make a choice. We came at the right day, the ribs were in special. My wife and I, ordered a full rack each.They were delicious and we enjoyed very much our meal and the restaurant itself... great decor. We will definitely come backagain. Fully recommended ???????????????????????????????? Just a comment on their beer selection... They should add goodbeers to it. Guelph has amazing breweries and beers. They should try and make a deal with them in order to have better optionsto go with their amazing food. Read more

My bf and I went to dinner here last Sunday. We ordered the quarter Chicken & Ribs combo. The food was almost inedible. The... chicken was dry and hard and seemed like it had been sitting under a hot light for hours. The ribs were very tough and almostimpossible to get off the bone. I picked at the chicken and didn't eat the ribs. With tip our bill came to almost $90 (weordered an app as well, which was great). To pay that much money for a dinner that we cannot eat is ridiculous. I called themanager a few days later to let him know how awful the food was. He said what do you want me to do about it? I said whatever youthink is fair. He said he would get the kitchen manager to call me back, no one ever called me back. Nice restaurant with good atmosphere and good food. Went for lunch in the late afternoon. I ordered the fish tacos with tomato... bisque soup for the side and a small caeser salad. Everything was really tasty but I would switch out the garlic aioli with atartar style sauce. The place wasn't busy but the service was just a tad slow. I always go to Chucks and never order to my house. Here's my experience... they had a good deal for sloppy Joe's, so I couldn't... say no. The fries were soggy, but it was decent for the price. And you can't go wrong with bbq wings. Chucks usually has a goodatmosphere, cheap drinks and bar food. I only go to Chucks after 9pm for the good deals. Read more
