Very disappointed with orange chicken w/rice and was not spicy at all and had no orange flavor. Sister-in-law order almond... chicken and she received sweet and sour chicken. Not as good as I thought it may be but then everybody cooks different. Once you had certain food that tasted great n try to get... it at a different place the same thing does not mean it b the same. Only gave it a 1 star because I couldn't give it 0. Food was NOT good!! Buffet was half empty and empty pans were dirty, nasty... and food burnt in the bottom of the pan. Instead of putting a fresh pan of food out, they just poured more food in nasty pans.The rice was either way under cooked OR sat there so long that the rice got hard and crunchy! Omg! I just had the MOST incredible experience. The food was amazing. If you want true authentic Chinese food this IS the place.... I had Shrimp Egg Fu Yon with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll for only $9.99. It was cooked to perfection with almond gravy. Myhusband had the 10 piece wings with beef fried rice. It was also great. The wings were nicely brown and seasoned well. Thechicken noodle soup was Um Um good. Last but not least, we had the sweet and sour chicken. The batter on the chicken was crispyand buttery. You didn’t taste any dough. To top it off, Colby was our waiter. If you want an unforgettable experience from a12 year old, you MUST come here. I eat out majority of the time because I’m always traveling for work, but never thought in amillion years a 12 year old would knock my family and I off our feet!!!! He left you wanting to come back the next day. He didnot miss a beat. From the time we walked through the door we were like WOW! Our drinks remained full, dirty plates were removedimmediately, he knew the menu inside out and he recommended great food choices. Now, remember he’s only 12. Save your time and money $9.71 for the buffet which is not worth it for the selection and quality of food.
Waited 2 years for the buffet to reopen and it did not disappoint. Pre-covid this places used to be packed come lunchtime. I... just want to spread the word, it has reopened. It’s small compared to other buffets in Augusta but the food is fresh. It isalso open 12:00-3:00. Read more
