Gyoza was fine but the veggie chicken tempura was absolutely disgusting. Got two of the smallest, dryest slices of chicken ever... and the rest I got was the most random veggies and a random onion ring. It tasted like cardboard. Just meh. Did take out, and my order was ready on time and I felt the portions were decent. Everything was well packaged. I... agree with another reviewer on the ginger salad dressing, it was the nastiest I have ever had and none of us ate it...thedressing recipe definitely needs a major re-do. While I was happy there were eggs in the rice, the rice was dry and bland(cardboard flavor) and lacking any sort of flavor. My steak was well done (I requested medium), but veggies cooked just right.All in all, not impressed and very disappointed given all the 5 star reviews. One of the best sushi restaurants in the Groveland area, sushi was extremely fresh and thick cut, price is very reasonable and... staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable (shout out to Mandy!) They have a full varietys of Japanese beers and sake to choosefrom. Highly recommended? Read more

Excellent food and great prices (especially the lunch menu)! I got a bunch of sushi and every single roll tasted AMAZING. A roll... that I've never seen at any sushi place before except here was the tempura sweet potato roll and that was surprisinglydelicious. Their soups are tasty and full of ingredients, their side orders are good sized portions... Even the restaurantitself is pleasing to be in, decorated for the holiday and super courteous staff. I really don't think I'll ever be going to anyother Japanese restaurant after this! Read more
