Food is never the issue, it?s always the service. Our last trip we waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order and... then had to find someone to cash us out after a similar time waiting. We ordered sirloin sliders they cane out COLD ..the Cobb salad dress was horrible and the wings were hard as ticks cold also

6/27 dinner we?re a 5 top ; my hot dogs were luke warm at best and they didn?t even chop the red onions like you?d expect; my... truffle fries were delivered cold, my son?s cheeseburger was cold as were his regular fries. The other food 2x personal nachoswere awesome as they usually are and the fried haddock was great too. they tried to deliver new truffle fries but they were buttfries (not the long normal ones) but they were at least hot. i am usually always happy camper when i leave this place but nottonight ( i had the dogs). Went to Groton Publick House for the first time ; it was a pleasant surprise ! Had some nachos that were good but you might want... to ask for extra pico de Gallo . The double chili dog looked really good and got rave reviews ! The draught s were nice and cold! Pleasant views of tge golf course while we were seated outside . A place I would try again ! Read more
Price point is not bad service decent, if a bit slow. One issue stay away from steak tips. A big plate of fries and 4 mediocre... tips one decent size for $26. Based on the roughly 4 oz portion that's spensive steak. But it wasn't. Read more

The Publick House has really good food! Appetizers are great. Nachos, Steak Sliders! And the Reuben is one of my favs!
