Been to this location 2x, both on Sundays. First time they forgot bacon on a bacon cheeseburger (even asked them if they put it... on, which they said yes). The second time forgot all of the toppings (lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles) on one burger andforgot the sauce on the other burger. Both large fries were not cooked all the way. Tried to call the location to a get refundand they don't pick up the phone and the voicemail is not set up. It's an absolute waste of money. Do not recommend thislocation. Read more
Best burgers in the area. Fantastic fries. You will need a thousand napkins because it is all greasy as hell. Recommend getting... smallest fries as that is still enough to serve three people. Unless you have a cardiac death wish don?t get large fries here.Bring a jacket because it is always freezing. Hope you like 70s-80s music. If you need a real burger and fries, this is where toget it. Shakes good also but don?t get your hopes up because they have repeatedly said they didn?t have shakes when we went. Read more
I love Five Guys and everything is usually great at this location except for one thing, the tables are almost always dirty.
We have been pretty regular customers of this location for the past several years. In the past we have come to expect amazing... customer service, great burgers, and AN EXPLOSION of fries. We still got the great customer service and good burgers. However,the fries are lacking. For my family of five we used to order one large and one little fry. The past several visits our fry cupshave barely been filled. I assumed that the company did away with the extra scoop of fries, but having been to other locationsboth In and out CT I know that the extra scoop still exists and the Groton location is not following that. The picture I haveattached is what we recieved tonight. It was barely enough fries for my three kids. It used to be (even without the extra scoop)that two large fries would EASILY serve 6 or 7 people. Again, the burgers are still amazing, the customer service is well abovepar, but $15 for 2 large fries and this is all you get? Not acceptable. Read more

We visited five guys yesterday and got some burgers and fries. This is the first time we have visited a Five Guys in a while and... when we ordered we were not aware the burgers are a double beef patty burger by default. My husband got an extra patty andunknowingly ended up with a triple burger! I wish the menu specified this, but the burgers were both large and very good. Wealso got the fries and true to what people say, they put an insane amount of fries in the bag outside of the usual white cup.Along with probably the best Gold Peak sweet tea from the fountain, we had a really good lunch. It is a fairly expensive burgerand fries, but the quality is there. I'd give it a shot if you are looking for a VERY filling burger and fries. Read more
This place makes amazing burgers and even though there?s a sign on the wall that says that they are the best 2013 under six... dollars burger and they don?t have anything under seven it?s still a great place to go. Have always been a fan of their burgers and fries. However, service this time was very poor. We ordered online and the... notification stated that our food would be ready at 6:40 PM. We got there just a little past 6:40 PM expecting our food to beready, but it hasn't been cooked yet. I asked if there was an order in for my name and the employee yelled back to the kitchensaying I was here. I totally understand if their policy is to start cooking once the customer arrives, but it took another 30minutes to finally get our food. Then, to add to the bad experience, our order was incorrect even though the order receipt wastaped to the outside of the bag. Overall, just terrible service. Read more
