I’m always looking for different places to go for lunch. I found The Olive Board Charcuterie & Wine Bar, in Grimsby... (TOBC&WB). We had no problem parking on the street for free, it was also a weekday. The front of restaurant stands out withits great patio. The inside is beautifully decorated with wood accent walls, very comfortable leather seats/sofas and greatlighting. It wasn’t busy at all that day. Maybe 2 people other than my friend and I. I decided to order the ‘SharedPlates’; soft sourdough Warm Salted Pretzels with a Dijon Mustard dip (it wasn’t a Dijon Mustard dip I got) regardless, itwas very good, creamy with a slight kick of heat. The softness, saltiness and warm sourdough with the creamy dip is a greatcombination. I couldn’t finish so I brought the rest home. Definitely recommend!!! I also got the ‘Shared Plates’; redpeppers, cucumbers, warm crustini/pita with 2 small beet/goat cheese dips. I’ve never had beets/goat cheese dip. It wasabsolutely delicious as well. Great combo. I couldn’t finish this one either, lol, so I brought the rest home. Definitelyrecommend this one also!! Both my ‘Shared Plates’ were so delicious. I’d definitely order both dishes again, it was thatgood. I also had an Espresso Martini which was nice. Overpriced but most restaurants charge the same price. My girlfriend hada delicious Flatbread. Good, attentive very nice waitress. Great ambiance, food and its by beautiful Lake Ontario. A nicetouch was an email from TOBC&WB thanking us for visiting and looking forward to seeing us soon. A must!!!! You won’t bedisappointed. Read more

ZERO stars. Just ate here and it is some of the most mediocre overpriced food i have ever eaten in my life. We paid $30 for... the blandest driest chicken salad in the world and $20 for an app size flatbread which was just average at best. The servicewas also just as terrible as the food. How they have a 4.8 rating is absolutely stunning. Literally zero stars all around forthe food and service. Also the menu online is not at all what it is in the restaurant. We drove an hour to get specific fooditems which they didn't have and are too lazy to update the menu online. Read more

There was a wedding shower going on inside so we had to eat outside. I made reservations and it didn’t give the choice of type... or location of tables like they do on Open Table. I didn’t want to eat outside as it was chilly when the sun was behind theclouds. Luckily the clouds cleared when we sat down out on the patio. The service was great and the food was awesome. Great atmosphere and even better service! The drinks were generous and you can never go wrong with any of their flatbreads!... Olive Board is in a beautiful area right by the water - perfect to head down for a walk before having a glass of wine! Read more

The Olive Board is situated in a new development but the wide sidewalk patio and the building architecture gives it a downtown... street feel. The Mussels, and Flat Breads were great, but the real draw to the Olive Board are the Charcuterie Boards, they arebig enough to share. The quality of the food is excellent and they provide good wine options. Read more
