Could not have had a worse meal or slower service. The drinks tasted like cleaning fluid or soap. My father pointed this out and... the reply was « people don?t usually say soap, they usually say cleaner ». His soup had bones it and was inedible. My beefdinner was nothing but grissôl and fat. Absolutely disgusting. The kids didn?t eat their food and my mother said her chickentasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. She couldn?t finish it. It took almost 2 hours to order, get the food. The billof 110.00 had yo be some kind of bad joke. This restaurant used to be a family favourite. We will never go back. Do better. Read more

Had to order another meal as soup had cooked green peppers. Have an allergy to them. Servers were great about switching to... another meal. They were very attentive to ensure I did not have a reaction. Thank you ladies, great job!! Read more

Horrifying mouldy tomato, photo attached. How old is that thing? I?ve had tomatoes look like that when they were in the fridge... for weeks. Cucumber dried and wrinkled, certainly not cut today, maybe not even yesterday, same photo attached. Soup was cold,drink was missing, croutons in the Cesar were wet and soggy. Yes, the croutons were wet. How long had that salad been sittingsomewhere for that to happen? Makes me question the quality, storage, and handling of the chicken and everything else. I moved to the area a couple of months ago and have ordered from this Swiss Chalet location 3 times so far. Each time there were... items missing and the soup contained almost no noodles and chicken. The first time I didn?t say anything but the second time Iprovided feedback online. I did hear back from the restaurant and was promised gift cards but they never came and subsequentemails were ignored. Judging by the amount of negative reviews citing much the same issues it would seem that my emails werelost among so many others. When I complained to the head office I did get a reply. The food itself wasn?t too bad (aside fromthe soup and missing items? so far 100% of the time) and the staff was very friendly, but management needs to get a handle onthis. Read more

Absolutely and by far the worst experience I had so far ordering foods for delivery, it took an hour and 15 minutes while the... party had an appointment to go to and could not eat their dinner and when I called them, I was told we do not guarantee deliverytimes, I was told when I placed the order that it will be approximately 15 minutes usually it does not take longer than that,the food arrived cold and was not enjoyable. Chicken was perfect. Person working drive through was friendly. Disappointed with the French fries as they were not the regular... swiss fries. These were dry with what seemed like a coating on them, and way too much salt. Read more

I?ll start by saying that I never write reviews but this Swiss Chalet in particular has irritated me so many times that I feel I... need to write one. As you can see what I ordered/paid for and what I had received are 2 completely different things. I pulledinto the drive through and waited 30 minutes to receive the wrong order. I will never ever be ordering from this disaster of arestaurant again and suggest that you don?t either If you?re reading this. Also, when my wife called the restaurant (after 3attempts to get someone on the line) she explained the situation to the staff member and the response was far from sympatheticas their reply was ?were extremely busy and we apologize for the error on your 1 piece of chicken? What does it matter if it?s 1piece or 20? It?s wrong because it?s not what I ordered and what I paid for. Read more
