Every once in a while, I crave some White Castle. I had the #1 combo - - 4 sliders w/jalapeño cheese, fries and a drink. It's... my favorite. The diced and sautéed onions are the best. Stopped in while driving through Indiana because we don't have White Castle in our state, and we happened to drive past this one... right about dinner time. The young man taking our order was really nice and helpful. I didn't catch his name but the receiptsaid employee #6566 if that helps. He was a little mumbly but I think it's because he was wearing a mask. They all were. The1921 sliders were definitely better fresh than the ones microwaved from Walmart. Some of the fries were perfect and some weretoo floppy. The mozzarella sticks and marinara were good. The chocolate shake was pretty good and they made it prettyquick. The bathroom was old and dingy like it needs more help than a cleaning can give it. The restaurant floors were stickybut I don't know how much of that was a side effect of the newly resurfaced parking lot and people tracking in tar on theirshoes. The tables and chairs were fine and the bathroom wasn't trashed so they must be cleaning regularly. Overall 4 stars.
