They are almost there. Nice looking, clean, great service, but food was not up to par. She had the shrimp and it was... excellent. I had the blackened Mahi. It was okay, but not great. Had the coleslaw and it was flat and flavorless and thestaff easily replaced it with rice. They should work on their drink specials and prices. Been there before and will mostlikely be back. Delicious food. Plenty of drinks to choose from. I had the red snapper it was outstanding. And from what I saw and heard from... other customers the food was "amazing". The staff are good people very friendly. Their food is homemade and you can taste itwith the amazing quality. This was my first time here and I will definitely take the trip from Chicago here again. Been going here since it first opened. Every restaurant struggles their first year esp with service. COVID didn't help. With... that being said, it's been maybe 4 years and service is still really bad. A lot of waiting. Lots of times I've ordered crabcakes and they don't have em. The owner is cool as hell and super nice. The food was pretty decent. I just don't understand howit doesn't translate to how the restaurant is run. Portion sizes are small compared to what you pay, esp in Indiana. These aredowntown Chicago prices. They used to offer entrees, with 2 sides and according to the menu, now only one side. Great patio! Great staff! Appetizer menu was fun. Drinks and beers handled our thirst! Live music was setting up but we had to... leave before it started. Ring toss reminded us of Sanibel Island...give 'em a try I think you'll enjoy it! Read more

So, this place has a lot of potential BUT there are things prevent it from ranking high with me. They opened late; did not have... key items listed on the menu; the staff was dry and borderline rude; and the bathroom was dirty at the beginning of the day.The wild part is the food was actually good but the other factors were huge distractions and disappointments. A different atmosphere than most places in the area, quite refreshing and unique. The food is good and made to order so don't... come here expecting food in 5 minutes after you order it. Sit back, relax and enjoy. We did and will most certainly be back formore. Read more
