Horrible! Chicken was not cooked inside!, No Mash Potatoes!, I got the last mac & cheese and that was werid tasting!, And the... coleslaw was mildewy! The WORST experience ever! I would have gone back but had already jumped on the highway and gone home. Also waited about 15 minutes to have my order taken. I did not go to the restroom, but a young lady and her husband went in toorder food, she walked in and immediately came out of the restroom and told her husband "we are leaving the restroom isdisgusting!" Whoever is in charge of that location needs to rethink about keeping it open or do a major makeover. Really Igive this place zero Stars! Read more
I wish you could give less than one star because this has to be the worst Popeyes location in the world. They are understaffed... most of the time and when it is staffed a lot of the times they are rude. Always out of food as well I honestly don't know howthis location hasn't gotten closed or put under new management. Don't bother trying to get food from this place find anotherPopeyes or you'll just end up super frustrated. I honestly don't understand how it hasn't gotten improved it's in an ideallocation and a license to print money if it was well staffed and served. Read more
Worst Popeyes Chicken in a 100 mile radius. It is without a doubt, the worst, most poorly managed restaurant that I've ever... gone to in my life. Once a year I go back and tell myself "Maybe their customer service / speed of service has gotten betterand I should give them a shot" and 45 min later, I get my food and realize that was a very stupid decision! If you value yourtime, your patients, your general mental health, then I highly suggest never visiting the Griffith Popeyes Chicken. You'llhighly regret it! Read more
Don't even bother with this location. It's a shame that this is the closest Popeyes to me. Drive thru has been tolerable at best... as they don't seem to be patient or friendly, they don't have the most up to date menu, and the last time I ordered online, ittook over an hour before I ended up cancelling. I'll go out of my way to the next closest location before ordering from thislocation again. They need to reorganize and they probably need better management. Even the Uber driver trying to pick up theorder said that they wouldn't recommend ordering from this Popeye's again. 0 stars. This is a very deaf unfriendly location. Both times I online ordered this was a drive-through only location even though... I was able to walk into the front room area / lobby and explain that I'm deaf and cannot use the drive-through. Absolutelyunbelievable that I'm standing right there and cannot pick up the food and have to somehow navigate an audio-centricdrive-through while not being able to hear anything. Read more
If I can give less stars I would!!! It has been getting worse and worse throughout the months today was the absolute worst day... at this location. I sat in line for 40 minutes the line was extremely long. Generally when you see a long line you thinkautomatically the food will be fresh that is a no! I finally got up there they were out of mashed potatoes and gravy they wereout of chicken legs and the chicken was burnt when I received my french fries they were cold and stale!!!! As I drove off andopen my dirty rice it had a sour smell it was bad not sure if it sat too long but if I was to eat that and get sick thatwould?ve definitely been bad news for this location then the lady had the nerve at the window to tell me my fries were not coldand stale mind you I just tasted it. Terrible! So terrible! This Popeyes in Griffith, Indiana is extremely low on staff. Not to mention, the wait times are over 30... minutes. Also, be cautious since more staff have recently quit making the wait times even longer than 30 mins. You might have towait for an 1 hour or so. Everything that I read from other reviewers are true --- plus be careful because they might claimthey are out of chicken which I find to be weird and strange since I was in the drive thru and saw a whole bunch of chickenwaiting to eaten. Also, they have a tendency of closing super early too! If you work for any food delivery gigs (i.e.Doordash), please do not take any orders from this particular Popeyes location. You will go through hell with them. Forinstance, today, people working for Doordash was leaving left and right and canceling their orders due to a very long waittime. They need some serious changing to their management as soon as possible! It is beyond worse now. They need more staff whois professional and reliable as well! Read more
I tried going through the drive thru but it wasn?t moving so I went inside. It?s dinner time so I expected a wait. So I waited... patiently in line for about 10 minutes as all the other customers were complaining how slow they are. But I work in food serviceI understand how things can get so continued to be patient. Got up to take my order and went to pay and the lady said ?we ain?ttaking no cash!? She said it real snotty I mentioned ?oh I didn?t see any sign? and she ignored me and as I was about to takeout on card I remembered the lady in front of me paid her in cash. I just said forget it and left. I understand being shorthanded and customers being impatient and rude but you don?t have to be snotty to everyone. I tried and I give up. Won?t be back. Read more
