This restaurant is set in a early 1900's home place. It's quite elequent. The food and service were both outstanding!

We had a 7:30 reservation tonight, but when we arrived people were waiting and the hostess curtly informed us it would be at... LEAST half an hour before we would be seated. She said they were short-staffed because someone had gone home sick; this was thesame excuse for the wait given Thursday night when my relative visited the restaurant. We noticed several open tables, however, and the crowd of people waiting in the lobby could have easily been accommodated. We may have been more receptive to thesituation had the hostess not been so rude, and it would behoove her to remember that regardless of their circumstances, whetherreal or fabricated, were certainly not our fault. At the very least an apologetic tone would have been appreciated. Read more

The ambiance was nice and the house the restaurant is set in is beautiful and has a great history. However, the service and food... weren't very good. They were understaffed and therefore I certainly understood a longer than normal wait time, but I ran out ofmy drink twice, a serious pet peeve of mine. The filet was horrible, it was burned and so dry I couldn't even eat it. Thebroccoli was tasteless and undercooked. My wife's salmon was perfect and the seared scallops were delicious...though themozzarella sticks were out of the freezer. In all, definitely NOT worth the $80 for 2 people price tag. Read more

The food is well above average. Their choice of wines is excellent. If I were to offer a suggestion for improvement it would be... in presentation both in terms of wait staff appearance and food plating. JT's has a lot of potential to become a four or fivestar restaurant. A wonderful facility upon which to build. Read more

Food was good but the service was not. Long wait time and one waitress. Charged a 25 dollar service fee for 2 adults and 4... children! One of the children being a 6 year old! We never even got a refill on the beverages. Very disappointed for a firsttime visitor. At least the hostess talked to us while we were waiting... Read more

A beautiful exterior, with a great staff. The food was delicious and worth the price. We went on my birthday, and they didn't... sing; always a plus in my book. Read more
