Ordered the shrimp on bun with garlic fries. I waited about 45 minutes for my food and I?m pretty convinced that at least 35 of... those minutes my food was being overcooked or refried because both the shrimp and garlic fries were hard and saturated withgrease. Had a 60th birthday party for a friend on September 8th. About 20 of us. They had tables set outside. Kaitlin was our server.... This doesn?t deserve stars, but have to leave 1. Arrived at 6:55, waitress arrived at 7:00. Ordered the 16 oz ribeye med rare.... Comes with a ?salad?. The ?salad? (iceberg, tomato wedge, 3 croutons and 2 slices of cucumber) arrived at 7:55. The steakarrived 2 minutes later. We asked for a manager because the steak was clearly not even close to 16 oz. The manager wanted totake it back, but by then we were so hungry we just decided to eat it. She came back and said she was having them fire anotherone for us. We told her not to bother. She said she would just pack it to go for us. We got home and put it on our kitchenscale. With mushrooms, two pieces of asparagus AND the styrofoam container it weighed in at a whopping 8.4 ounces. (Then 8.3with the lid opened.) The baked potato was tasty as was the asparagus and the mushrooms. The steak was underwhelming at best.Won?t make this mistake again. UPDATE: just had to get a true weight on this steak. Total 5.7 ounces. So they want us to believethat the steak lost 11.3 oz after cooking. And this steak actually looks bigger than our first one. My friend waited for at least 10 minutes at the inside bar to order drinks. We finally gave up and went outside. The bartender... seemed more concerned about football pools. The bartender outside was nice but didn't have Diet Coke (not her fault). I ended upgoing to the Gretna Tavern instead of wasting our time at Gretna Depot. Read more
