Reviews for Flying Pie Pizzeria in Gresham, OR
11/17/22 6:00 PM. We were refused service simply due to the fact that we were a group of 8 adults and 3 children. They kept... referring to ?Sorry we can?t accept walk in party?s?. I said we?re a group not a party. Sorry we?re understaffed and can?taccept a walk in party. I asked so you can?t make 2 or 3 pizzas. Again, sorry we?re understaffed. This news came from a politeyoung man after asking his manager (A KAREN I presume) if we could slide 2 tables together. Manager Karen just gave us a nastylook and walked away, not having the courtesy of explaining the situation herself. Basically ?Sorry you can?t order pizza at apizza place? (for context, there were other customers dining in and picking up pizzas at the time). Two stars since I?ve alwaysenjoyed their food and service in the past. No longer will patronize or recommend this location under the current manager Read more
Probably the best pizza place in Gresham. You pay for what you get, definitely costs more than your rapid chain pizza joints,... but the toppings are 2-3 times more dense and filling. Read more
Wow. Toppings, toppings and more toppings. Very tasty. Very filling and almost totally worth the price. Something for everyone -... including a salad bar - which I love. My only complaint was that the dough was a bit over cooked and very crisp and hard tochew. Read more
I have always had a pleasant experience with the staff at Flying Pie. In addition, this is one pizzeria you do not need to ask... for extra pepperoni! A simple pepperoni pizza has enough pepperoni to satisfy any meat lover. I love this place! Read more
The employees were super friendly and the service was quick. However... the crust on the pizza was not done. Instead of having... toppings distributed on the pizza, there were 2 handfuls of pineapple and stacks of peperoni. There was so much cheese andgrease that the toppings slid off. There were only 2 toppings! Very disappointing dinner. $25 straight in to the garbage. Read more
Y'all, I haven't even eaten the pizza yet and I'm giving it 5 stars. This location is a portal to my youth. We might as well be... hitting up the Blockbusters next and maybe TCBY for a special treat. This place doesn't know a Starbucks exists. This place hashas a salad bar that doesn't hide behind a staff-only sign; no one is gonna judge you for the amount of bacon bits you coveryour ranchy greens in. They got quarter machines that run on quarters, not cards. They have plastic grapes and red checkertables. This is the place. The staff appear happy to be here, and the old guys enjoying the last bits of their pie ask you howyour dinner was as you leave. It's cozy. It's homey. It's kitschy and an authentic escape into the past. Two thumbs up foratmosphere. And I judging by the happy groans around me, I bet the pizza is pretty good too. Read more
Amazing pizza! I've been eating at the original Stark location since the 90's. This was my first time at this one. The decor... isn't as fun but the pizza is spot on. Read more
We use to really enjoy their pizza, but the quality has gone down hill over the last year or so. The last time I was in to pick... up a pizza, I watched an employee refill a half empty container of feta cheese. The cheese at the bottom of the container wascompletely molded. They still just topped it off and put the container back. I will no longer be getting pizza from here. Read more
