Reviews for Don Ladis Taco Shop in Gresham, OR
Two main concerns having to do with hygiene. First, the young women taking the orders at the registrar was eating, while... fulfilling orders and handing out the orders. While she was collecting cash, a customer asked for more items from the salsa bar.She left the cash on the prep table, sliced cucumbers, and replenished the salsa items. Upon her return she hand the cash to thecook in exchange for smaller bills. The issue I had was noticing how the cook, went to the sink dipped his hands in the runningwater and returned immediately to handle my food. I was disgusted by their lack of essential and safe handling of food. Read more

I'm a long time patron, so you will find this rating biased. One rule my father taught me about restraints while traveling in... Mexico is the standard I apply to all latin American restaurants no matter which of the Americas I'm in so, I always try theirbeans. His advice was that "One can judge the quality of an entire menu based on how good their beans are". His reasoning wasthis: if they take care to make their beans taste good then they will do as well on everything else too! Don Ladis Taco Shop,is a simple eatery that makes great bean and an assortment a delicious entree 's that will make you a loyal customer too. Read more
I love their fish tacos. A good size taco for sure.
Another visit to one of my favorite Taco Shops in Gresham! Don?t forget about their crispy ground beef tacos!!!
Good portions and prices, best asada in town. Try the steak fajita meal. When they ask flour or corn tortillas ask for chips... it's better than a nacho. Deconstructed nacho we will call it lol with rice. Best service and Pina I've tried. Pina is a Musthave in summer and horchata this winter I can't wait. Read more
It was ok. Not bad - comparable to the wood Village burrito shop. I would rate this place as not 4 but like 4.25 stars. The... tacos listed are pollo asado, lengua and al pastor. The quesadilla was filled with cheese and guac and beans and pico. Tacosalad was shredded chicken. I didn't try the asada tacos but if we come back I would try those. For a good experience get theAl pastor tacos. Ask for more limes. Read more
Best Carne Asada burritos I've come across in the greater Portland metro area. Almost ten bucks, but every bite is worth that.... Also, they always have my fried jalapenos & onions at the condiment bar. I find myself headed there on auto-pilot at least oncea week - usually a lot more. So good. Read more
