Wow wow wow amazingly good meal. I was in Portland/Gresham for work and was reading the Yelp reviews and this definitely caught... my eye. It was a little later in the evening and went without a reservation but luckily had a table outside. Decided not toorder an appetizer or salad but did order a loaf of bread. It was taking a little while until it came out and I realized thatthey baked it fresh-and oh my if the rest of the meal was this good I was in for a treat. I love it when they bring butter andlightly salt it. Read more

Our new favorite place! We stumbled upon this quaint and cozy petite cafe. The inside was elegant, inviting and reminded us of... being in Europe. The service was exceptional and the waitress was so refined! The intimate setting connected you to anexperience beyond their amazing food! Their fresh to the minute menu was phenomenal! We both ordered separate entrees, which hadgiant proportions good to the last bite. We can't express enough how much we enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance!Bacari is a much try in Gresham! Have to be completely honest, this place was not as great as I had hoped for and expected. First off they only have a few... seating times for reservations. which to me made it worse as everyone arrived at the same time and the server was very slow dueto having to attend to everyone at the same time. I think they would be better off having staggered seating times or anotherserver. The place itself was very cute, it had a cozy and classy feel at the same time. Our server was friendly and she told usall the specials she had which was A LOT to take in, I really think they should have them printed out as it was hard to remembereverything she said. The menu is rotating so I understand but printing new ones everyday shouldn't be to big of a hassleespecially considering the prices. Although I understand this is an upscale place I did feel like some of the prices were alittle out of hand. Mainly for the appetizers. We ordered the prawns pernod, it came with five prawns for the steep price of$28. They were good but nothing amazing. For entrée ordered the Lobster Boullabaisse. The presentation was nice and there was agood amount of seafood, this dish was priced much more accordingly. My husband ordered the special which was a 12oz fillet. Hisdish also looked very nice but it did not come with any side item, no veggies or potato or anything. He was a littledisappointed to see that. My mom and her husband got the salad special, and the Pork chop. They seemed very happy with theirmeals and had no complaints. The service during the whole time was very slow and we had empty drinks many times. This was due toshort staff and everyone coming at once in my opinion. Cant say I would be interested in coming back. I feel there is otherdinner houses much nicer and with more options. Read more
