My wife and I heard lots about this place, but the comment that put us over the edge about it was from an Italian lady in town.... She said it is the best pasta in town and we LOVE pasta? like borderline snobby about it. ???? Anyway, we went and it certainlydid not disappoint, in atmosphere and taste and service. I had the four cheese pappardelle and my wife had the shrimp gnocchi.Oh man, so good? you can tell they put thought and love into their cooking. The atmosphere is peaceful and elegant (not just acasual place), but not so upscale it?s uncomfortable. Their service was great and not too much, yet attentive to eachguest. Visited for the first time. Completely worth the 40 min drive. Brandon was our server, he made the experience special and had... great recommendations as well. *Update* Consistently the most outstanding restaurant we've experienced in the Upstate over the past three years of living in... this area. The daily specials are truly outstanding and a nice addition to all the great favorites we enjoy from the main menuwhich also change seasonally. The Chilean Sea Bass and any of the Veal dishes but especially the Veal Martini are some of ourfavorites... and try the Raviolo Appetizer for a unique pasta treat! Excellent is every way!
