The most hospitable and friendly restaurant we have been to in a long time! Everything was homemade, fresh and tasted great! -... Ruben, grits and gravy (to die for), potato salad, chicken salad, and cookies! The owner was so nice and took great care of us-you could tell he puts everything into his business and food. The staff is is always incredibly friendly. Service today was off and the food missed the mark. The cafe was incredibly busy... which we understood, however customers were servicing themselves in the kitchen as well as family members. Too many people goingin and out that should not have been back there, and when it comes to food service, sanitation is everything. Read more
Busy Saturday, but from what I hear it always is! Excellent service great Reuben sandwich with pasta. Be prepared to wait... for a few minutes because everything is freshly prepared in their kitchen it is so worth the wait. The only thing I recommend isclosing the back door when people are outside smoking the cigarette smoke pulls right into the dining area. This place wasawesome next time I'll come for breakfast.
