Drove all the way across town because I was craving some Peruvian rotisserie chicken! This place did not disappoint!! The... chicken was so tender, the rice and beans so tasty, and some of the best plantains we?ve ever had. Usually my husband does notlike the plantains but he really enjoyed them here at Pollo Lima. The two gentlemen working there were very nice. I?m so happymy office is close by, whenever I go in I will definitely be stopping in to bring some dinner home! Read more
Absolutely amazing! I?m Peruvian so I can be picky/biased because nothing beats my moms cooking. However, this place has just... gained two forever customers. I hope everyone that drives to Arapahoe Rd stops by this tucked away gem. This place is trulyauthentic and delicious. The hospitality, the service, and the hosts were amazing. The good..the staff was friendly,. The place is good to try something new. It has good flavor, the portions are good, the place... is clean, next to I25. The bad. The price is to high for the type of food, I mean the quantity, for Lomo asado,white rice, frypotatoes with a sauce, some meet, one boil potatoes with a sauce for papas ala huancaina. Like I said the flavor is there butis the price is in higher side. Is a good place to eat and tray something different than American food, just to over price formy point of view. Delicious! Can?t believe I have lived so close and this was my first time here. The owners are super friendly and helped explain... items on the menu and the yummy sauce bar. The food was so good and authentic to Peruvian dishes. Highly recommend this place! Read more
Best chicken I've ever had! The chicken was moist and the flavor penetrated into the meat. So delicious! The chicken plate came... with a slice of plantain, rice, and a bowl of beans. We also ordered the Jalea seafood platter. It was yummy as well. The staffwere very friendly. Told us to try their sauces, checked up on us, and joked with other customers. It was a very funenvironment. Wish they had one in Minnesota so I could try more of their foods!!!! I will definately come back! Read more
This Peruvian place is incredibly good for their chicken! The spices are incredible. The sauces are also amazing with the right... amount of kick. Honestly the best tasting black beans that I have had in a long time. Plantains is perfectly fried. The owner isa joy! Coming back to try the Lomo Saltado & Jalea, you can bet on that! Read more
