Reviews for Yen Jing Chinese Restaurant in Greenville, TX
I have always loved eating at yinzing. I especially love their almond chicken and egg drop soup I had not had it for quite a... while so this time it's tasted a little bit different so I am wondering if they change their menu a little or maybe theiringredients but it was still really good. I had enough left over to freeze for another meal so that was great everything aboutit was really good. I had a takeout order and it was ready very quickly everything happened real quick no waiting around it wasit was a very good experience. Read more
We went for the lunch special on a Sunday. The lunch special comes with soup, entree, FRIED rice and egg roll. The hot and sour... soup was okay. Definitely a 6 out of 10. I got sweet and sour chicken. The chicken had very little flavor. The vegetables tastedlike they had been sitting for a day. 3 out of 10. The fried rice was not fried rice. It was white rice with tiny specks of egg.No peas, no carrots, nothing. I could understand if the menu stated "white rice" but it says "fried rice". This was the mostdisappointing part of the meal. 0 out of 10. The egg roll was nothing special. Little flavor. Basically tasted from abox. Overall the meal had very little flavor. The staff are extremely nice. Unfortunately that doesn't make up for the foodbeing so bad. Read more
If I could give this place a negative, i would. The food is horrible. The cook could in NO way have a CLUE about Chinese food... cuisine. I could've bought frozen or deli from Walmart and eaten better. It was too sweet and the 2 meals tasted the SAMEflavor. Very weird. Obviously they need a cook and they won't listen to these bad reviews. The girl at front checkout wasso rude and despicable. She didn't apologize or acknowledge I was in front of her own eyeballs. Odd. They should shut downthis restaurant. Horrible!!!!! Read more
The service is good. The portions are huge. The Mu Su is good as well. If you get the large soup for 2, be ready to feed 10. It... is the biggest bowl of soup I have seen. The flavor was good but way to salty. The Pu Pu platter is a fried food lovers heaven.I am not a fan. The bathroom was not clean and the floor was sticky. Read more
Got a chance to stop here for Lunch, on my way back to Dallas. Decent place, ambience was good, Curry Chicken was amazing.... Little disappointed with hot & sour soup though. Read more
This is a great family restaurant. The serving sizes are generous and always flavorful. We ordered the dinner for four and... plenty of leftovers to take home. Service was good, our server was friendly and joked with our son about eating all the food weordered. We try to always eat here when we are in town. Read more
Nice quiet and relaxing dining area. The food is great as long as you like Chinese. The egg rolls a great. Pretty sure that they... make them fresh as apposed to getting them frozen. Read more
I usually don't make bad reviews but I have today in hopes no one else is fooled by the 4.4 star rating. We did pickup online so... I can't speak on customer service. Everyone in our family of 4 was extremely dissatisfied with the food. My husband orderedorange chicken, I ordered Sesame and the kids got chicken fried rice. The rice alone was hard, the egg was orange, both friedchicken dishes were the same color and flavor, we had fried dumplings and I ended ripping the dumpling apart and eating thefried yet soggy outside. Don't waste your money! Read more
