I came to eat breakfast here with my girls and it was a little hectic up in there but I understood everyone's frustration. The... food was okay could have been better but I do understand the young lady was busy. She had her hands full on one cook and a housefull of customers. My server was amazing. She apologized for the wait, the food that wasn't to my liking. She was just veryapologetic and I really appreciate her sincere customer service skills. Popped in alone today and was immediately sat in a nice booth. My server Kamyia was fantastic--best service I've ever had at a... Waffle House. (Corporate, hope you see this!) Food was delicious as well so kudos to the cooks. Overheard a manager/supervisorfussing quite a bit, so I do hope they realize they have some wonderful staff here at the Haywood Rd. Waffle House. This is the cleanest Waffle House I've ever seen in my life! And the people are all respectable and friendly and decent. I... brought my kids here to give them an "authentic" Southern experience during a travel trip. I was wearing an evil grin walkingin, but wow, this place is actually nice! There's a bunch of well-dressed seniors in the booths that look like they're grabbinga posh breakfast before their tee time at the country club. This is some Twilight Zone reversal going on here! Someone told me this restaurant is a "must" visit when you are in SC. I really like the food. The quantity was small compared to... other chains like this one but I think is the right amount for a healthy breakfast. The place was small but cozy. They had onlyone server but let me tell you she was great, she was so welcoming and patient explaining us the menu. You can see the chefscooking your food and it look clean and organized. Read more
I love this Waffle House. The ladies that work here are just pure southern magic, and you can almost even taste that energy in... the food. I have never had any issues here and always feel so welcome and at home when I enter through the doors, even whenthey're slammed. The food is awesome, and the staff make the experience just that much better. Read more
My husband and I love this Waffle House. It is a top spot for a quick weekend sit down meal. It can get crowded at times but... they are quick to get people in and out. The waitresses are great and always greet us when we come in to eat! Food always comesout quick and is fresh and hot. Prices are good for the food you get. Craving hash browns after the local brunch restaurants closed? That was our dilemma, so my son recommended WH. (I hadn't been... to one in several years.) He ordered the Cheesesteak Bowl, and I got the Patty Melt Bowl. Both come with cheese and grilledonions, and can be customized. As always, the food is reasonably priced and cooked to order. Honestly food was awesome servers were super nice probly the best waffle house food I've had in a long time.
