The Worse Experience My friends and I had reservations and we arrived only 5 minutes late. They were already giving away our... table to a walk-in customer. So we ordered drinks and an appetizer and felt like they wanted us to rush to order our main mealand when we started to eat they continued to harass us throughout our meal. Most of the harassment was from the owner/manager.This is our 2nd time I've had a bad experience. I like the food but because of the lack of respect....twice, I will never eathere again! It won't happen to me a third time....I promise you that. Read more

Honestly if I could leave less than 1 star I would? There are many words to describe the experience, however none are pleasant. I... planned to dine at this restaurant just yesterday with some friends and my service dog which I am training for a veteran withPTSD (She is fully trained to sit quietly under a table), yet as soon as we entered we were pushed back outside to an unofficialoutside dinning area the owner created last minute, which happened to be on the sidewalk in front of the building. Now I enjoy agood outside dining experience just as much as the next person but I enjoy it even more so when it is by choice as well as aneveryday option. The owner of this establishment did not give us the choice simply because I had my service dog with me. Herepeatedly questioned my friends about my disability and then demanded to see my dogs ID (Neither of these things are legal inSouth Carolina). According to the owner I was too young for a service dog plus I was neither blind nor in a wheelchair. I foundthe entire experience utterly disgusting so my friends and I decided rather than spend our money at such an establishment wewould just leave and find somewhere better. We proceeded to walk to our cars and the owner came out of the restaurant asking uswhy we were leaving. We told him respectfully that we would rather take our business elsewhere to which he began following us toour cars and telling us he didn?t want people with such bad attitudes eating at his restaurant anyways. He then took pictures ofour license plates for whatever reason he deemed fit and proceeded to walk back inside. Overall, the experience was horrible andI definitely won?t ever eat here. I?m simply glad that I myself am just a service dog trainer/raiser and not someone who has anunseen but very real disability, because I can only imagine the type of anxiety and stress this situation would cause. The ADAspecifically says that all service animals in SC are allowed to accompany their handler Read more

My daughter and I have been looking for authentic Thai food, so after many recommendations, we decided to finally try Sweet... Basil Thai. It started out wonderful. We ordered the fresh spring rolls, shrimp dumplings and Tom yum soup for appetizer, and Iordered fried rice with shrimp, and my daughter order noodles with chicken.. All the appetizers and soup did not disappoint. Thesoup was full of flavor, lemongrass was on point and perfect heat. However, when I got my fried rice I was surprised how lightthe color looked. I thought to myself, it doesn?t matter it could still be full of flavor, but no, I was wrong. It was so bland. It tasted nothing like Thai fried rice that I?ve had in many different Thai restaurants coast to coast. I was so disappointed, Ihad to send it back. When I told our server, he immediately knew and said that he makes his own because they use some sort ofsticky rice and there?s no flavor. Zero flavor?? would I go back just for the soup? Possibly. But the hype about the place isnot there for us. We will find the perfect Thai restaurant here in the greater Greenville area ????. Read more

My first visit after work on a Friday. Was able to get a table right away before it got to busy. I ordered the spring rolls to... start of with, but $7 for two rolls were kind of pricey. They were good, but not sure if I'd order them again. After the springrolls came my chicken pad Thai. I ordered it hot because I love spicy food. It tasted great but next time I might order it alittle more mild. Just for my preference I would have preferred just a little milder. No fault on them of course. Hopefully thenext level down of spice still has some kick. The staff was very pleasant and kept my drink refreshed without asking. It wasreally good food in a nice atmosphere and will return again. This restaurant is NOT for vegetarians & food taste was not good. There was chicken in my vegetarian meal for the second time.... We didn?t go back for a long time after the 1st occasion because the owner was very unapologetic, and told me that bc they arenot a vegetarian restaurant that it may happen sometimes. The pineapple fried rice and maussaman curry both tasted weird andunappetizing. I couldn?t finish my meal. These are usually my favorite dishes at other Thai restaurants. We regrettably gavethem another chance and won?t make that mistake again. Read more
