Best sushi in town. Great service, laid back, classy atmosphere. Don?t come expecting fried rice- it is traditional Japanese.... The fish is the freshest. I get the Chirashi- the dinner portion always has the best cuts of fish- and the soft shell crabsalad. The sake menu is also Japanese designed, so it has a wide variety of classic sake in addition to shochu. Read more

Great atmosphere coming in. I had the Philly roll, Cali roll, and Crunchy Crab. Each type of roll had 8 or so bites. I was... impressed. My fiance got the Crunchy King and Crazy Roll. Everything was so good! Read more

Great sushi and ramen. The staff was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and all of their most popular items. Their spicy... ramen was personally my favorite. I will definitely be bringing some of my sushi and ramen loving friends here sometime. Read more

Fantastic sushi restaurant! Great menu items I haven't seen at other sushi restaurants. For example, our two appetizers, Ankimo... Ponzu (Monk fish liver) now I'm not a big fan of liver, but I like trying new things. It wasn't bad, my girlfriend however lovedit. Secondly was Lobster Carpaccio, now that was delicious! For entrees we had Miso Ramen and Sushi & Sashimi. The ramen wasprobably the best I've ever had! So flavorful! The Sushi & Sashimi platter was a work of art basically. Nice selection from thechef. Great and attentive service toped of our visit. Definitely will be back! Pictured are Miso Ramen and Sushi & Sashimi. Theappetizers were so good... we ate then before thinking about taking a picture! Ordered the chicken teriyaki and Sushi Lunch combo A. Although the sushi sounds like a good value, the rolls were extremely... small and pretty basic. The chicken teriyaki had more emphasis placed on the presentation than the taste, as it was fairly blandand lacking the rich deep flavors of traditional Asain cuisine. In terms of the atmosphere, the restaurant is not well kept.Duct tape used to fix wobbly tables, etc. Additionally, despite the restaurant being slow, the waiter did not do a good jobattending to our needs. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience. If you're looking for a good sushi/asianrestaurant in Greenville, there are several others downtown that I would recommend over Sushigo. I did not try the ramen, but Iwill say that the ramen looked appetizing at least. Read more

My husband and I were so excited to try SUSHI GO. We read the chef's bio and thought the sashimi and sushi would be top quality.... Unfortunately, it was pretty disappointing. I ordered the tuna sashimi, tuna tataki, and Red on White as our appetizers. Thetuna tataki was by far the saddest, seared tuna slices I've ever seen, BUT the ponzu sauce was incredible. The R&W wasessentially tiny scoops of spicy tuna mix on thin rice puffs - not worth trying TBH. The tuna sashimi was probably the bestthing we ordered overall. For sushi, we ordered the Tuna Tuna Tuna, the Kabuki, the Hot Tonight, and an Eel & Cucumber roll. All were extremely mediocre in flavor, and our fried roll came out soggy and much later than our first three rolls did. In allhonesty, I didn't find the restaurant impressive and would not go back, especially considering the quality versus price. Read more

My dad and I just tried this restaurant last Saturday, and it was AWESOME! We had the beef tataki appetizer and plum wine sake... to drink. He ordered two sushi rolls (the Hot Tonight and the All-Star Spicy Lobster) and I got the Unajyu (eel over rice). Weshared the entrées, and we had the tempura cheesecake dessert. Everything was so delicious and I can?t wait to eat here again! Read more
