Sr Salsa has consistently exceeded our expectations. The food and service has always been top notch. Adrian, our preferred... server, always goes above and behind to make our experience in the restaurant amazing. We also catered through them for about120 people and I couldn?t have asked for better. If this was a rating of the food and drink quality here at Sr. Salsa's it would be a easy 5 stars! Service was a total let down,... no drinks, not even water on the table for at least 20 minutes after chips, salsa and even after the order of cheese dip hit thetable. I guess filling the ice buckets was more important than serving quests? The drinks, Texas Margarita, The Pina Colada &the frostiest cold mug for a Corona (see pic) that I have ever had were excellent! The Tacos were very good. The wife's ShrimpCocktail possibly the best in the upstate! The Texas Fajita came out nice, hot and sizzling, however the additional 15 minutewait for the tortillas and side ingredients had turned the steak, shrimp and chicken from sizzling to luke warm. Deserts theflan and sopapilla were also extremely tasty. It's a shame such excellent food and drink prep was wasted on very lacklusterservice, also grabbing the cash tip off the table before we could leave the booth was very unprofessional. Still left what wethought a very generous after all things considered a $10 tip on an $84 tab. Ps... A/C could have been on a lower settinguncomfortably warm. Update: 9/22/22 Best service and food quality we have experienced in awhile! We came in half hour or sobefore closing time. Expecting to be rushed (which was wrong on our part) we were wrong, a wonderful, delightful, well paced,delicious meal! Changed review from 2 stars to 4 stars. This wonderful local Mexican restaurant is amazing. You are instantly greeted by the owner and made to feel like family. The... staff is also so nice and willing accommodate any diety restrictions. The drinks are delicious and the smells coming from thekitchen leave you eager for your food. My food came out quickly and perfect. It was delicious and the portions size was justenough to have some to enjoy the next day. I can't recommend this wonderful place enough! Read more

My family and I love Sr. Salsa Mexican Restaurant. Our waiter is usually Adrian. He?s great! Always smiling and very attentive!... My children and I usually order the Chicken Flautas.
