Our family has been going to Golden Llama since it opened and we were pretty satisfied with the quality and service. This past... weekend we went there to eat after a long time and the quality has diminished extremely. I ordered the normal, a "Ceviche mixtoand a Papa a la Huncaina", it was the worst that I've ever had at a Peruvian Restaurant. THE FOOD WAS NOT FRESH, THE POTATOESWERE OLD AND THE CEVICHE WAS COMPLETELY DISTATEFUL! I think that they changed the owners/chef. I will definitely not go thereagain. The problem is that here in South Carolina people are too scared to voice out their opinion in regards to quality, butif this restaurant would be open for example, in Florida, it would have no business. Great Peruvian restaurant. Always kind, fast and fresh food. Their food reminds me of the time I traveled to Peru back in the... day. Their aji de gallina, lomos saltados, ceviche and their fried fish dish is?..muah???????? I recommend trying if you want alittle taste of South America! Read more

Wow! What a hidden gem! It was my first time trying Peruvian food. I loved it! I had a take on fish and chips. It had yuka... potatoes, regular potatoes, fried fish, fried shrimp, and calamari..the sauce was so fresh and vibrant! My plate's presentationwas beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I should have gotten an extra sauce to really saturate all the deliciousness on myplate.Its a little pricey, however they do give you large quantities on your plate. Read more

I got the number 8, it was really good. My meat was tender and the fries were nice and crispy. I am attaching pictures, it... didn?t look like a lot of food but after destroying the rice pyramid it actually was. I left very full.
