Quite impressive for a hotel restaurant. Seafood chowder was generous with meat, service was prompt and professional.

Took 3 hours from sit-down to check. I ordered an entree and soda water. She didn't charge for the soda water because of the bad... service. Okay food. Most beers were kicked. Read more

This restaurant has most certainly lost its ways over the years. It used to be really good and the staff was on their A game,... but definitely seen a severe decline in the quality of the food as well as the staff. My last few experience with them weredefinitely on the terrible side of things. Took forever to be seated, from there waiter took a good 12 minutes before comingover, and even more time to come order my food. Had to ask on four separate occasions for wine, food came poorly prepared andwrong. Next day I figured I would give them one last shot as a to go order and same scenario, took well over 37 minutes to getmy food and it wasn?t even cooked right, ended up throwing it away. Will never eat there again Read more

Really good breakfast buffet. Coffee was mediocre. Service is very nice. Will definitely go back. We live here in Greer and... typically have shied away from hotel restaurants, but it makes sense to support them Read more

They've got a few different menus (we sat in the dining area but asked for the bar menu), so ask for your options before you... decide. Service was friendly, but gave us the check before asking if we wanted refills or desserts. Burger was undercooked andpart of the chicken was slightly under too. Overall, this could be a five star place but stupid mistakes brought it to fourstars. Read more

For a hotel restaurant, Giatu was pretty impressive. We had dinner on BMW as part of the performance center delivery of our new... car. Wine was a tad on the expensive side for a hotel, but glasses of the house were moderate and pretty excellent. Beerselection was ok, but nothing exceptional. The food was excellent though. Both salads were very good, particularly the one withbacon, duck cracklings, and a fried egg, which was a meal on it's own. The oxtail ravioli was also exceptional, though a bitheavy in the creamy sauce, particularly after the huge salad. The pork chop was immense and very well cooked and on the bonewhich I appreciate. Dessert was also very good and included a coca-cola cake with ice cream and a fried apple pie with apple icecream which was delicious. Staff was friendly though a bit slow. Breakfast was also very good and had a nice selection from anomelette bar to cereal, to fresh fruit. The omelette bar had a lot of good choices but I was so full from the previous night'sdinner I just had cereal and a muffin. Read more
