Should be zero stars if possible. Food was inedible and Vile. Restaurant is filthy. Couldn?t believe they got a 90 rating from... Dept of Health, should have failed. Mold growing out of the ac vents, sticky table tops and a bathroom I wouldn?t let a dog goin. Ownership has no pride in this establishment and it shows. 1st and last time I will be there. Read more

The gyro platter was mostly delicious. It came with gyro meat, a side salad, pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and potato salad. The... potato salad lacked flavor and the meat was quite oily. We also tried the Athenian chicken which was okay. The atmosphere isunique and is not necessarily indicitive of Greek cuisine. Plus, the interior is outdated and food is served on styrofoam.Employees were very friendly and honestly hoped we had enjoyed our meal. Overall, good food and friendly service. Read more
Quería cute little place. Owners run the place and are very friendly. Food is good and we?ll priced. Music is different, but... it?s entertaining. It keeps you listening to know what?s up next, very boradwayish, probably a coincidence. Read more
Decided we wanted to try something different, again. We weren't sure where to park at first, so we parked in the back lot... behind the restaurant where you turn in on. You can also park street side. There is quite a bit of room inside and the wallshave wood interiors. I wasn't sure if I went into the right entrance door or not because it was a small width hall that has thebathrooms to your left as you walk in. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our beefsteak. This was my first visit. Actually I have never heard of The Marathon Restaurant until a friend drove us there for lunch. It has... a Greek themed layout. The tables and atmosphere were polished and relaxing. The staff, cashier were polite and friendly. Thecashier knew I've never been there before and helped me order by giving me the quick rundown of what's popular and theingredients. That is how I ended up ordering the steak and cheese sub, and I must say it was absolutely delicious! I have ateother steak and cheese subs from places like Jersey Mike's and Subway, and it was good. However, The Marathon was better! I lovetheir fries, too! I cannot wait to go back and try more of their food. Read more
