Love their food. Very nice employees

First of all, as I walked into the building I wasn't greeted or acknowledged for about 5 mins..not even by the cook who was just... staring at me. Second, after receiving my food I grabbed the bag from the counter and noticed the counter was extremely wet; Itlooked like drinks had been up there and leaked, but wasn't wiped afterwards. So of course, I looked under my bag of food and itwas wet as well. The presentation of that was just awful. The waitress saw it and just walked merrily away to assist othercustomers. I understand that restaurant is hectic at times, but a little more concern for the customers would be appreciated. Read more

Food was as tasteful as expected. Visit was very chaotic. I usually call ahead for lunch; but my husband and I had an... appointment nearby. The restaurant was not full so I decided to order take-out and wait. It was after 12:30pm. It took over 20minutes. We both had to had this to the time to already time away from lunch. I am used to pretty much the same type service atHwy 55. Today, I did not get greeted upon entering(no problem). As I stood in front of the register the two waitresses passedme by, but the dark hair and said she would be ba k to take my order....didn't happen. After, I had to raise my voice to gainattention then the other waitress took my order. As, I waited I discovered that the female door dash driver was already therewaiting for a pick up. There was another employee, I am guessing mgmt in the back screaming. She finally came back out andstated they forgot the to come back to the phone to take the order. This is why the three times I called prior the phone linewas busy. The two young men cooking were trying to pull it together. It appeared that one was training the other. NO problemwith them. This is when patience comes in. My problem was with the mgr she did not apologize or anything. I recall theunpleasant grimace upon her face as she handed me my food. It was so unpleasant that I would not even go to my Friday Hwy 55meal at the other restaurant. THEY NEED SOME STRUCTURE! Worst Hwy 55 experience ever. Wish I could give the rating a zero. Absolutely horrible customer service. Place was disgusting all tables were dirty & the... floor look like it hasn?t been cleaned or swept in forever. I moved seats because it was so nasty where I was sitting. Shouldhave just left because it was nasty everywhere. Milkshake had a fishy smell , the food was good but due to the terrible customerservice ! and the nasty floors & tables ! I won?t be going back. On March 21 I ordered 2 Americana meals, one with onion rings,and one with french fries. Both with milk shakes. While waiting on... my order to cook, the person doing the cooking QUIT with the a grill full of food cooking. The cashier refused to refund anyonetheir money. When I got my order home, EVERYTHING was burned up. We couldn't eat it. I left 3 messages with the owner before Ireceived a return call. He explained the circumstances and I was cool with that. He explained that he couldn't refund me the$25 I had spent , but he would replace the meal. Today I came for the replacement meals. THEY WERE DISGUSTING!!!! The burgerswere not done. The bread was soggy, the french fries and onion rings had no taste, the lemonade and orangeade were tasteless!!!We didn't even attempt to eat that mess. I used to go to HWY 55 in Wilson NC and Snowhill NC and LOVED IT. On top of the mealbeing totally disgusting, the cook handled our food without gloves, and the cashier had a extreme attitude, possibly because Iinterrupted her showing the cook stuff on her cell phone. It was adequate. All the good stuff in the burger and it was a good sloppy eat. The only critique I have is the grill was not... hot enough to crust the hamburger itself and give it that delicious caramelized flavor. The staff is super friendly. Read more

A+ for service. Y'all are awesome. Thanks for a wonderful night. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, fried pickles, with the... peppers and onions on the side. The food was excellent. I needed a good experience to end my extended weekend in town and thiswas it. I will most definitely recommend this place for a quick bite and will be back with my family next time we're in thearea. I haven't had such good fried chicken since I spent Sunday afternoon at my granmama's house as a child. Good job! Read more
