Arrived here around 11:25 PM on a Sunday evening. I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw an article about some Waffle House... in Charlotte getting a B as their sanitation rating. I read the comments, and they were funny, as expected. I then developed acraving for food from there. I was being lazy, but the Bonnie decided to get up and go. I went to the location on Randleman Rdfirst and it said to go only 9pm-6am. This one said the same but there were people sitting inside eating but it also looked likepeople were just ordering too. I contemplated going in first but eventually decided to around 11:38pm. There was a small line.So I just decided to sit at a table after waiting a couple minutes. At 11:43pm, a waitress asked if I was eating here and I saidyes. She told another waitress that I would be hers but she said she was doing the other side? I?m not sure but she wasn?twearing a name tag. At 11:46pm, the original waitress said she would be with me shortly. There was only 2 waitresses. Thewaitress, ?Shade?, took my order at 11:48pm. I for the Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with hashbrowns. I was greedy and also got awaffle with peanut butter chips. For my drink, I got an OJ, which is no refills. While waiting, I decided to check theirsanitization rating and it was a 93, which isn?t bad. People kept coming as I waited. There were tables that still needed to beclean but they were working hard. I received my order at 12:06pm in a to-go container, LOL. ?Shade? asked if that was fine andI said yeah. I was hungry and I didn?t wanna wait to move it, plus it wasn?t that serious. My table didn?t have ketchup and thebottle at the table next to me was empty. My waffle wasn?t ready until 12:09pm, which is when I asked for ketchup and gotketchup packets. I started eating my food and it was merely warm? which is meh. The bacon was so dang crispy and deliciousthough! The hashbrowns were a little over cooked but tasted fine drenched in ketchup. No call in pickups only driving and waiting in a parking lot with 10 other people waiting for your order to get mixed up. Spent... 45 minutes getting my food . I don?t get why you can?t do call in orders. It would speed up the process and avoid a parking lotfull of people awaiting orders. I will not be returning until they go back to the old waffle house of even dining in oranswering pickup calls. Read more
It's really good food and they have good prices, we love breakfast at night.
The waitresses with the longgggg eyelashes and the one that looks like she may be Asian had the nastiest attitude and we?re... extremely rude. I have never had such terrible customer service in my life. I will never spend my money here again! Read more
This place does not deserve a star period!! From the restaurant to the waitress the cook the food!!! First time at a waffle... house first time in this state and this is by far the worst place I've eaten at since I been here! Table was dirty the waitresstook forever to clean it with a towel she picked up from somewhere left the table wet my husband had to take some napkins to drythe table off!! My food wasn't hot my grits was warm and lumpy the sausage seemed like it was cooked and then placed in themicrowave the only thing I could eat was the waffle. Didn't know the waitress name because she didn't present it nor was shewearing a name tag! The whole staff was very unprofessional the entire place was dirty! Will never eat here again! I've workedin customer service for 20 yrs I never witnessed such poor customer service!! Corporate needs to get involved and come up with abetter training technique ???????????????????????????? It was good. The waitress we had was fun, and talkative and a pleasure to be around. Even when when my company's food wasn't... entirely there, she got it taken care of. We laughed about my order of apple juice and she replaced it with something else. Thewaitress, absolute pleasure. My food was hot when I did get it. The music was a mixture, but more R&B for those who areparticularly not interested in an certain environment. It was great, though. I did have an weird encountered with a waitress Ididn't know at all, she was very rude, rolling her eyes at me, when me and my partner were leaving, she was almost on the backof my heels and making direct contact to me just to roll her eyes. I don't know the lady at all, being I'm not from the area atall. It did rub me the wrong way, as I said, being I'm not from Greensboro area. Other than that weird encountered, everythingwas good. Good food. Good service for the most part! Light skin guy with braids needs training. Other than that the ladies were excellent!
Very clean, organized, and well put together. Staff are so friendly and always on top of everything! Food is great. Definitely... my favorite Waffle House in the area. Read more
