Probably the least expensive restaurant rotisserie chicken in town at least to my knowledge. Chicken was flavorful and not dry.... Green beans and mash potatoes were also tasty. Also pictured is 3 tenders with waffle. Generous portion of tenders. Only mehwaffle and they don?t serve real butter, such a shame!! Overall not bad. Read more

Table looked clean but was sticky. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was floating in orange grease/oil covering the plate and... soaking the bottom of the bun. As reported by other reviewers it also inexplicably came with slaw on it. Fine, but justunexpected because not what?s on the menu. The slaw (tasted as a side, not from on the sandwich) tasted slightly fermented.Fries were unremarkable frozen fare without any seasoning/salt. Mac and cheese was okay, would have been much better if servedhotter and the thick covering of previously-melted cheddar not so solidified. The fried chicken was fine and indeed served veryhot unlike the sides. All in all about the quality and atmosphere of a fast food joint but more cramped and with prices morelike a full-service restaurant. I ate at a table with the food ordering line crowding through right next to me and took in theview out of the windows covered with poorly applied plastic sheets of window tinting. I had high expectations wanting to trythis place, and I?m sorry to eviscerate it, but just NO. Never again. I?d recommend Dames Chicken & Waffles if you like thissort of menu, or just Bojangles for a superior dining experience. Read more

Is the chicken good? Yes. Will you get what you ordered? Probably not. I've been here twice and ordered two different types of... sandwiches (nashville hot and Sriracha honey) but each time got a plain chicken sandwich with slaw and pickles. If you're goingto go ask for a side sauce bc they can't seem to get it on the sandwiches. "Nashville hot" pictured. Read more

UPDATE 11/24/21: We tried some new items today and everything was FANTASTIC. I think the owner was working the counter today... and let me tell you, she works like a well oiled machine and is VERY nice. We dined in and ordered the fried macaroni cheesebites as an appetizer. Hubs wanted a repeat of the spicy chicken sandwich with potato salad. I wanted to try the chicken stripsand fried okra. The strips come in a count of 3 for $6.00 or 6 for only $10.00. I was going to order 3 but Hubs said he wantedone and I immediately thought, ?I can?t survive on 2 measly strips? so I ordered 6. Plus, you get double the strips and SAVE$2.00! We sat down to wait and started laughing that we ordered an appetizer in a fast food restaurant. Low and behold, shebrought out the Mac n cheese bites ahead of everything else. The timing was impressive but the taste was even better and theywere only $5.00! They were large, maybe 2? x 2.5? and maybe 1? thick and breaded and fried to a really crunchy, golden brown. Westarted chowing so fast I?m not sure if we got 7 or 8 pieces. The inside was packed with the creamy goodness of macaroni andcheese. The side of ranch was a nice touch. I reviewed the sandwich and potato salad before, so I?m moving on to my meal. Again, she brought our food to our table and when she put my tray in front of me, I literally GASPED and put my hand over mymouth. She laughed at my response. These shouldn?t be called chicken ?strips?. Chicken ?Lunkers? is a much betterdescription. Hubs ate one and I ended up eating only 2. I brought 3 home and they were so big, I was compelled to weigh them. They weighed 6 ounces each! So let?s do that math?I got roughly 2+ pounds of boneless fried chicken, easily 2 meals, for $10bucks. Now that?s value! The fried okra was lightly breaded and fried just enough that it was crisp on the outside and verytender, almost creamy, on the inside. We will definitely be back! The service and food is primo! We get in the mood f Read more

I was looking for a place to eat and found this on Google Maps. I'm so happy that I stopped by. First of all, the restaurant is... very clean. The young lady working there today is very friendly and nice. I ordered 2 dark meat chicken with Shirachi honeysauce, green beans, fries, coleslaw and banana puddling. The coleslaw was one of the best I have ever eaten. It has a niceflavor. The green beans had garlic, and it was so good. The fries tasted so fresh and so good alone. I can tasted the freshpotato, and I don't know if they were made fresh or frozen. They tasted freshly cut and fried. The fried chicken, I got lightlyfried. I'm so glad that I did. It has just the perfect amount of crispy texture and crunch without the grease. The chicken wasso good. I need to check if they have a location in Winston-Salem so that I can get my pups some more fried chicken instead ofBojangles' before we head home. The banana pudding was good, too. My pup likes it ????. Everything was so good. It's amazing!! Read more

The chicken is always hot and delicious. It is nicely seasoned and the breading is not too thick. The meat is juicy and not dry.... The sriracha honey chicken sandwich was really good as well. It had a nice balance of spiciness and sweetness. The chicken andwaffles were good, but the waffle is a bit doughy. The prices are average and not too bad. Read more
