I ordered butter chicken and received exactly 5 nugget sized pieces of chicken in a bowl filled with liquid to hide the small... portion. The food was decent but I feel bamboozled for the price I paid Read more

Enjoyed the Indian flavours in this restaurant. The garlic naan and tikka masala with chicken are the best. Goat biryani was... made so tasty and fresh. The restaurant is so clean and serene. The customer service is excellent. Read more

Raaz has never ever let me down and food is prepared very quickly for a takeout place. Also great for takeout is the fact that... you can place your order online without paying and pick it up, you don?t have to call! This is very much the ?comfort food?Indian place around here, you won?t pay through the nose as you would at the more gourmet Lemon Indian but you?ll still get somevery good food. Naan could definitely be improved upon and perhaps more flavors introduced, but Saag, Korma, and Kadai are allgreat dishes that won?t disappoint. If you?re getting curry (Veg and Non-Veg), get naan too, this is similar to the concept ofpita in Middle Eastern and is used the same way, paired with entrees for scooping. I?ve tried all ?Non-Vegetarian Entrees?(interesting to see this distinction made, where vegetarian is actually the more common category in Indian rather than the otherway around) and all are amazing. Saag, due to looking like green mush, may be off-putting to look at and maybe won?t taste likewhat you?re used to in a curry at first as it?s not as spicy and I often like to add cayenne and pepper to it at home, but it isreally good if you give it a chance! Only complaint is the sides of rice could maybe be a bit bigger, but since curry sauces arethick rather than what you might be used to in Thai, you don?t need rice to hold the dish together. If you?re trying Indian forthe first time, I?d recommend Raaz. If you want to level up and try gourmet Indian that?s more expensive, go to Lemon. There?salso a lot of other great restaurants and coffee shops on Tate Street to enjoy after. I?ve never dined in at Raaz so I can?tattest to that experience. Read more
