Great for a summer treat. Many combinations to be had. Update: in the last couple times I've visited (as recently as 7/17/21)... between 7:45 and 8:15, they have been out of ice so I could not get a snoball. If you are out of ice why are you still open withthe open light on? Read more
I have been going to this Pelicans Snoballs every since they opened at this location. I love their snowballs and until last... night (Friday 7/16/2021) have had a great experience. The snowballs are great from the beginning when they are icy to the endwhen they are mostly liquid. Before I would give them a 5 rating. Last night I really wanted one so I headed to Pelicans. They close at 9:00 and I got there at about 8:25 pm. There were several people in the back but no one came to the window to say'Can I take your order", "May I help you" or anything. After about 10 minutes another patron arrived but no one came to helpher either. About 5 minutes later we both left. Now as I said before I really wanted a snowball. I had just gotten out of thehospital about 3 days before and can't stand but so long. I get the Avalanche sometimes depending on the time of day, butlately I get the large so I don't waste any. Now I get the large for $4.50 and leave a .50 tip. Have the hours changed orhave the employees changed? I will still go there because the other one in Greensboro is too far or try the Slushie fromMcDonald's. Please let me know if the hours have changed so I can make sure to get there earlier for my snowballs. Thank you. Read more
