My first time here and it is close to my house. I was with a group and the service was not as good as it could have been. I... ordered the Gyro sandwich with onion rings and sweet tea. The meat on my gyro was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. And itwas in chunks instead of thin strips. Next time I will have to get pics. The atmosphere here is great and very inviting. Thereare many Mediterranean dishes here as well as American choices. And the sides that I saw looked delicious. Everyone in our groupcleaned their plate. I will be back soon Oakcrest. Read more

OMG! I have to say that I have had the most wonderful experience here. I ordered out the first few times and I was amazed with... how delicious the food was! So then I started to eat in. And the service and the food was amazing! My husband and I have foundour favorite place to eat! So much to chose from we never get tired of eating here! The people there are so kind andprofessional! AWESOME as usual. Their salads are huge and the ranch is phenomenal. Very reasonably priced. Salmon always grilled perfectly... and tastes wonderful, their fried shrimp is delicious and I've never eaten a burger here that was wasn't very good. I was strolling on DoorDash one Saturday morning for breakfast and ran across Oakcrest. The menu has a ton of options and I was... super excited to see a No Pork Breakfast meal option - both the turkey sausage and Turkey bacon were delicious and so were thepancakes! Eggs, grits, and Belgian waffle were decent. I was not a fan of the home fries. Prices were fair for the amount foodyou get. I more than likely would not order breakfast again, but I could see myself actually visiting the restaurant in-personto try out some other menu items for lunch or dinner. Read more

Disappointing visit. My husband and I went to Oakcrest for lunch today. Rather, we attempted to get lunch today. We walked in,... seated ourselves as the sign directed. And waited. Two servers walked past us multiple times. They went to the back and seemedto look over the dining room, but never saw us. One stood there drinking a glass of tea as she glanced around. But no one seemedto recognize that anyone had walked in and taken a seat. We were the only people there that had no drinks, napkins, or silver -that should have been a pretty good indication that we needed service. We finally stood and made our way back to the door - andstill no one spoke. Last chance to gain these steady customers. ** Edited to respond to owner's response. ** Indeed. Mistakeshappen. We all make them. Perhaps this could be a good learning opportunity for your staff. Walking around, drinking their icetea and not appearing to care about doing their job should not be the priority in any customer service situation.
