They now have a smaller menu than before the pandemic but the food was still very good. The person who took our order was not as... interested in getting us as she was in her phone. When we requested a type of bread, she reply was that they didn't havesourdough but didn't offer an alternative as to what they did have. Read more

I am embarrassed to say I come here daily. I am vegetarian and I get the southwest chicken avocado salad with NO chicken extra... bean relish mix. The sandwiches, gluten free options, and baked potatoes are fresh and consistent. Same VERY friendly staff whoare efficient. Same people, smiles when you arrive, and great food for good price. Makes my day everyday! Yes I work FT andenjoy my lunch break here! And they know their regular customers by first name. If you have not been here I recommend it. Read more
I hadn't been to McAlister's in some years. Menu has changed but some faves still available. The Spud Ole is no longer on the... menu but they offered to make it for me & it was like I remembered - Spicy & tasty. The roast beef & horseradish also hit thespot. And thank goodness their ice tea is still wonderful. The tea is actually the reason I stopped there today. It's still thebest around. Read more
I picked up takeout from McAlister?s Deli for dinner. I had the Black Angus Roast Beef Spud, and the family had the Justaspuds... with a cup of Chili. And we also had the House-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies. The spuds were huge and piping hot, just the waythe should be. Sandwich (club) was good, but had hardly any meat. The salad was inedible. As I was picking through the lettuce (some of it... looked old) I noticed the Parmesan cheese was moldy. This will be my last visit to this location. Had I not gotten my order togo, I would have returned the salad. Read more
This section of New Garden Rd, is loaded with great places to eat. We found ourselves wanting good deli but our usual place was... closed. McAlister?s is our new Go To - here?s why: they have no problem with substitutions. We both wanted The New Yorker whichis corned beef, pastrami, swiss and spicy brown mustard on marbled rye. We changed the bread on both to a baguette and no cheeseon mine. The girl at the register was very accommodating and nice. We took it home and chowed. The corned beef and pastramicombo was really good! The potato salad tasted better than it looks and the tomato, cucumber salad was very fresh. This was agreat experience! Read more
