Wayyyyyy overpriced for appetizer portions. On top of that, you can tell that the cuisine is tamped down for its clientele... making the food only a bad imitation of Laotian recipes. Severely disappointed in this place. For reference, I had the Laab andpapaya salad. Have found way better versions with larger portions for half the price at the local Hmong New Year and otherrestaurants. Go elsewhere if you want the real thing. Read more

I had the most wonderful dinner with my partner at Lao!. She told me about it and it sounded interesting, once I saw the menu I... knew we made the right choice. We ordered the wings, money bags, green papaya salad, and for dessert the sweet mango rice whichwas delicious!. All the flavors paired so well with our drinks, we had La Paleta and a Margarita, loved the toasted coconut rimon it. Flavors were extraordinary, the setting was calm and very adequate to talk across the table, we could not stopdescribing how incredible all the flavors of our food were!. Our waitress was very attentive, kind and very informative aboutour meals, definitely want to try the sausage and all the big plates on our next visit!. Read more

The family really enjoyed the food here. The noodles were cooked al dente and the taste of the dish was excellent. The 'money... bags' were delicious. Note that the pictures of the food were taken after everyone had started to dig it (they couldn't seem towait!). Highly recommended. The service was excellent as well! Read more

I wholeheartedly recommended. Excellent Southeast Asian food. The real treat is the bar that runs nearly the length of the... restaurant and has the best bartender in town (David). Eat at the bar. You won't be disappointed. Read more

First time been there. My son who lives in Greensboro was recommended by friend, and he took us while we visited him. The... restaurant was in the middle of downtown among with so many other restaurants. Entrance was quite small but after passing longcorridors, the dining room was there. It was our first time to eat Laotian food. So we asked for recommendations. All the foodwas quite spicy yet it was really tasty. Lastly, we ordered sticky mango rice. It was sweet and very nice. Great upscale chain of Laotian inspired dishes. The food was excellent and the service superb. Their speciality cocktails are... also a winner. The barkeep Robert is an expert mixologist and spirits connoisseur. Fantastic experience and highly recommendto anyone seeking Southeast Asian inspired dishes in downtown Greensboro. Read more

Servers were nice but service was very slow. Very small food menu. Sausage was overcooked and dry but flavorful. The sauce on... the food overpowered the protein, the duck was overcooked. No sides came with the traditional entrees and we had to ask to addrice to our order. We have been excited to try this spot but unfortunately will not be back. Beautiful location, we spent justover $100 for two people. Read more
