From out of town but in the area for a wedding. I didn?t plan on coming here since I had terrible Mexican food the night before.... The restaurant I came to this area for was doing renovations so I decided to stop in due to the rainy weather and fantasticsmell that filled the sidewalk when guests left the restaurant. The place was PACKED. It was only me so I sat at the bar.Servers were extremely friendly, service was fast, and I asked the waitress to surprise me with the best item and whatever itwas was out of this world (Veggies, cheesy rice, steak and chicken). The food was super quick, very filling, and extremely wellpriced. They even asked if I wanted a water to go. Top 3 Mexican restaurants I?ve ever been to (and I spend a lot of time inTexas), best service I?ve had at a restaurant in a LONG time, and one of the best run restaurants I?ve ever seen. La Hacienda Bowl? This is genius, also delicious! Greens, black beans, roasted corn, rice, cucumber, Pico de gallo and protein... of choice. The food was so good. This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for the past 9 years.
