It's a typical... diner experience and the food is always hot and usually delivered faster than you can imagine. My first time eating at Herbie's; I was having breakfast with a friend, we were both very pleased! I had the biscuits and gravy... with hashbrowns, she had the veggie omelette with toast and grits...food was very tasty with decent portions. Our server wasfriendly and efficient; checked up on us multiple times. Very nice, quietly energetic atmosphere, it seemed like the busboynever quit working, and a very efficient staff as well. We're new to the area and wanted to stop by. The parking lot is always full so I assumed it must be good. The food was very... reasonable and it tasted delicious! The pancakes were some of the best I've had, the hashbrowns were crispy and well-seasonedand the eggs were fluffy. Our waitress was very friendly. The food came out in less than five minutes. At first glance, I thought this place was just another Waffle House with a different look. But the full booths, no immediate... seating, and line out the door stood out. When seating became available, our order was taken quick, food came out quick, andit was delicious. Tried a little bit of everything that I could handle and everything was good. First time dinning here and it was a welcoming environment. Our waitress very nice and the restaurant itself was clean. Food was... served in a descent amount of time and tasted like as if you were at home making it for your family. Waitress was efficient wenever had to wait or ask for a thing, prices definitely affordable. Definitely try it out. Read more
