I love barbecue..... this was shockingly delicious! Staff is so helpful, friendly, polite, & knowledgeable. Clean environment,... tons of sitting space, couple beers on tap (but more of a family spot). Walk up, order, pay, sit, wait until your name iscalled. Pulled pork was on point and so flavorful WITHOUT SAUCE! but they have lots of sauce options and will add a vinegar baseif you want. They take pride in preparing their meat. Sides are even delicious! I NEVER eat turkey, even on Thanksgiving, but the turkey tacos here are fantastic. The chipotle lime sauce is divine. Next time... I'll get two instead of just one. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the ribs & brisket, & our daughter liked the chicken tenders. Weall loved the fries & hushpuppies. Everything was clean & the employees were friendly. Good service, good prices, good portions, good food! The only complaint I have is that the silverware and the red plates by the... drink machine were all dirty (bits of crusted-on food). They have disposable plates and silverware because I asked for them, butI recommend offering that instead of the real thing if it can?t be cleaned properly. Read more
The Mac N Cheese is the best damn thing. Actually all of the sides here are pretty dope. I had the sausage and didn?t... particularly love it because I?m raised on KC style. However, I can tell based on the amount of folks walking in that this isdef a NC favorite. Read more
If I could give this restaurant a 10 out 10 I would. This place is amazing. The staff that was here tonight (3/23/22) was all... around fantastic. They made the environment awesome. They make you feel so welcoming. These people deserve raises. We came innot really knowing what to get how to order, they went above and beyond to make our experience here wonderful. The atmosphere was awesome and it smelled amazing from the parking lot. The menu is easy to navigate and the prices are... reasonable, especially now with inflation. We ordered the judges sampler. There are two things that warranted 4 stars and not 5stars. The food was DELICIOUS ????????but the meat was cold once we got the platter. And the gender neutral restrooms were notclean at all! Went here on a Thursday night with my family it wasn't too busy when we got here around 6pm. The food is excellent. I had the... More Cowbell sandwich which is like a beef brisket variation on the Philly cheesesteak. They have a kids menu. They also havehealthy options. Atmosphere has a modern industrial feel. They forgot a side of fries on my brother's order but quicklycorrected it. The drink station was out of straws but the staff is super nice and quickly we had straws. I love BBQ and was so excited when this place opened. I really want to love it but I?ve been disappointed too many times. Last... night, we made an online pick up order. It was 25 minutes late being ready and the order was not complete (I?m glad I checked itbefore leaving). The pulled pork was 25% inedible fat and was overall very greasy. The sides were all generally very good andthe brisket was also very good. The staff preparing the food and packaging it, from my experience several times inside therestaurant, doesn?t have a good process in place and seems confused about what to do. We won?t be back.
