We started with the Gyoza and Clear onion soup. The Gyoza was lightly fried and was absolute perfection! My wife and I both... agreed that it was tastiest and best texture of any Gyoza we've ever had. The clear onion was so good we got one to go. For ourmain we had the shrimp tempura and TNT rolls. They were both good but nothing special. Shrimp tempura actually has a bit toomuch eel sauce and it detracts from the shrimp. Restaurant is short staffed and they had made it known at the front on a sign, so we were understandable with the wait. The food... wasn?t bad but it wasn?t the best. The volcano roll was pretty much drenched in eel sauce which made it very salty and heavy tome. The hibachi was a little bland but everything else about it, especially the steak, was good. The steak was very tender andcooked perfectly. Now even though I understood that they were short staffed and we would have to wait a little bit longer forcertain things, I didn?t really like how the used plates on our table we?re still stacked there even when our waitress maderounds at our table and we would have to ask for basic things before having to eat. Also our check was brought to us even thoughan order that I had made had never arrived to our table nor was it even included in the bill, so that meant it was forgotten,because our waitress had even repeated my order. I stopped in for a quick bite on my way home. The Black Pearl sushi roll and onion soup were so good I had to try one more roll... before leaving! The Playboy roll and Thai Tea were also delicious and worth making room for. Service was A+ and dining room wasvery quiet at 5pm on a Monday. Love this place!!! Read more
