Since I moved to the opposite side of town two years ago, I rarely have the opportunity to get food from here, because I’m not... making a 20 min (one way) trip there lol. However, since I was on this side of town today, I decided to stop by and grab me somelunch. Around 1:55 PM on a Friday afternoon, I called and placed an order for pick up. I got their $8.55 lunch special whichincludes one or two meats and rice. The meats that I chose was black pepper chicken and honey chicken. This is what I alwaysget. I chose steamed rice to go with it. I was told it would be 15 minutes. The price of the lunch special used to be $6.95,which is what I thought it was going to be per a photo I saw. After looking back, it was a photo from 4 years ago, lol. Iarrived around 2pm and sat in my car for 5 minutes before going inside. In the window, they have a board with their dailyspecials. There is a sign on the door stating they are closed every Tuesday. This has been in effect since Sept. 7, 2021. Inoticed a couple parties sitting in the dining area when I walked in. I was promptly greeted. My food was already ready andcheck out was smooth. Staff was friendly. I had to go pick my son up, so I ate in the car. The food was delicious, as to beexpected. They haven’t let me down yet! I can’t wait to come back, and hopefully it won’t be another year! Side Note:There is a decent sized area that’s empty in front of their location. I got the lunch special, Steak and Shrimp Hibachi and it was PERFECT. The shrimp and steak were very tender and tasted very... fresh. The steak was medium or medium well and was juicy and perfectly charred. The veggies consisted of onions, broccoli,carrots and zucchini and they were all tender crisp. It came with a large to go serving of whit sauce which was plenty for theamount of food which could have fed two people. Even the tea was full of flavor. I had a great first experience! Read more
Rice had the weirdest taste, that I just couldn't figure out. In addition to the taste the rice was hard and crunchy where I... guess they fried it too long. Even tried to put soy sauce on main dish to throw off the taste but to no avail was such possible.My first and last time EVER eating here. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Read more
