Loved this cute bbq place on Greenport. My husband had the smoked chicken , my mom and I had the fried chicken sandwiches. The... food is delicious. We also ordered smoked chicken wings. Mediocre experience with my family. The food was good and our waitress, Mary, was nice at first then became very rude. She... tripped behind the bar and yelled the f bomb so loud the entire restaurant could hear. She also ripped food out of the foodrunner?s hand when he was dropping it off at our table. I visited last week and I am now a fan! We had one of the sharing meals. I think it was called big cowboy or something like... that. But it had 3 different meats, 2 sides and their delicious cornbread with cinnamon butter. Their fries were excellent,their mustard for their sausage was excellent and over all, for a Texas girl, this was super approved! They recently revamped the menu and now the food is very good here. This is real smoky tangy style bbq, more southwest than... carolina. Smash burgers are excellent, as is the pulled pork, and the new baked beans are actually amazing with big chunks ofpork. This is also the #1 music venue in town. Great bands upstairs on Fri and Sat, and Open Mic on Thurs. Read more
My family decided to try this BBQ place for Father?s day. We loved our experience! We had a very nice server named Grace. She... was super attentive, helped us in a timely manner, and gave great suggestions. The place was clearly very busy, but we got ourfood quickly and the BBQ platter was amazing! I went for an event with two amazing performers: "GENE and GIL! A special evening of swing, blues and ballads." The first.floor... was near empty and everyone was up stairs listening to the two amazing musicians. The staff was friendly and the bartender wasattentive. Server's were busy bringing up the dinners and the BBQ ribes were the most popular choice. The crowd was friendlyand welcoming. The music mix was spectacular. A special guest playing snare drum joined the duo for a few songs and added tothe fun night. Read more
This place is absolutely delicious!! Made it here for the Pig Roast (Saturday?s from 4-7) and I?m so glad I did. Also, had the... shrimp appetizer and the Burger/Fries combo. Food and service both top notch. Had the Moonsage cocktail which I highlyrecommend; perfect for a refreshing drink after a day exploring the North Fork. We will be back! Read more
The food is just DELICIOUS!!! The ambience was great. They had a band playing on the 2nd floor. The Carolina Pulled Pork was... as luscious as it was in the Outer Banks. The Cole Slaw was so good, we bought more to take home. The Mac and Cheese wasgreat. If you are into BBQ, you MUST try this place. There was a wait, but it was TOTALLY worth it!!! Read more
