We walked in here today and was greeted right away by our server and who I think was the owner. They both seemed a little... frazzled about the help in the place and told us that they only had two cooks but they would try their best to accommodateeveryone in the place. We did wait a little for our food but our server was amazing in making sure we knew what we wanted andeven gave us some more water and some pickles while we waited for our food. When the food came it was amazing! My wife?s saladwas fresh with all fresh ingredients, my sandwich was made perfect and neat for a double decker. What I liked most was thequality of service. My two girls both ordered the same dish. They both never finish their meals when we go out to eat. Ourwaitress recommended we split the dish as it was a lot of food. She was right and it was the perfect amount for both our girlsto eat. It?s the first time they both cleaned their plates. The food was amazing and I highly recommend eating here. The best burger! The best Chowder- North Fork chowder! Combine the both and you are set! Have gone many times to this cozy... place and it is hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. The owner, staff and patrons are so nice and you feel right at home. We will go back even again! Read more

Had the most amazing chowder and chicken pot pie here. This place has a great decor and vibe. The service was pretty slow but... that's understandable as the owners doubled up as servers amidst the pandemic. Chicken pot pie is one of their specialties and Irelished every bite of it. The portion size was huge, it was creamy and delicious. Just what I needed on a cold Saturdayafternoon. The prices are reasonable. All precautions were taken, tables were 6 feet apart and the table cover sheets werechanged with every new customer. Great food and friendly owners. Read more
If you have not yet tried the Front Street Restaurant in Greenport, please put it on your calendar to visit, soon. The... restaurant/bar is a cozy and historic structure (the bar is actually located in a former Pullman train car). Dave (the owner)and his daughter Sharon are very welcoming restauranteurs, who serve delicious food (probably the best Oysters ???? I have hadin quite awhile), well made libations and interesting conversation. All in all, a wonderful new find and definitely a place forfuture visits as we travel from CT to Montauk.
