Never...ever had I had a problem with Famous Dave's.. but the last 2 visits were bad. The first one we let side... this time... was beyond terrible.. our children's food came out first.... ours came out about 15 minutes after and was cold... my order wasnot right so I had to wait another 10 minutes.. at that point we had a few bites and let. We spent over $100.00 it is not easyto go out anymore with prices so high... but wanted to give the place another chance and it made our mind up we will never gothere again. And that is a shame because we use to love it there.. also the "owner" commented and put a link that does notexist. So this is how they handle customers... Read more
We went to this place to celebrate my sister's 1 year memorial. Her favorite was BBQ and this place was recommended The food... looked amazing but the meats were cold. I was disappointed in the brisket and how much fat was on it, she told me they put themeat on garlic toast instead it was on the end bread and the bread was cold like it was just taken out of the fridge. Some ofthe s ide dishes were hot especially the fries. The mashed potatoes tasted funny and none of us ate them. The sweet tea wasamazing!! My husband did like his fish and that was hot. The one thing that bothered me was the waitress kept reaching over ourplates. Not once did she say excuse me or can you pass this down when I offered being nice because I didn't want her to reachover us again and she said she had it. My daughter had fries and Mac n cheese left and she just grabbed her plate without askingif she was done. My daughter was more upset that she took the cookie with it. If we do try this place again we'll pick a busierday and maybe it'll be a bit better. Read more
My daughter and I just tried this place as I love BBQ and she has recently taking a liking to it and I've always heard good... things about this place. Love the variety of the menu and they have items if you have a non BBQ lover in you family. We got theChoose 1 que combo BBQ chicken white meat. Got 2 nice chicken breasts with wings attached. Chicken was delicious and tender.Flavor right into the meat. BBQ is a nice spicy flavor that makes me interested in trying their chili sometime. Great sideselections! I chose the famous fries and corn. My daughter got the garlic mashed potatoes and corn. Both the fries and mashedpotatoes are good choices although I preferred the fries and my daughter preferred the mashed potatoes. It really comes down tohow you like to eat your potatoes. Corn is corn on the cob and it's 2 slices of the cob. The corn was delicious. The dinnercomes with a corn muffin which was scrumptious if you like corn muffins. The portions were generous and in a way that you couldeasily divide it up if you wanted left overs. I could have taken a piece of chicken and cob home and half the fries to have forlunch another day. We were ravenous so we polished our plates. For those who like to dine in, I love the way the restaurant issetup with the checked tablecloths on wood tables and chairs. It felt like I was at a family picnic and they have the ability tosetup for larger groups, but I would call ahead first. If you don't want to dine in, I noticed they have feasts that you canorder and they are done up really well including a build your own so I may try that another day when I don't want to dine in,but don't want to do fast food. My #1 BBQ Favorite Franchise! They’ve never let me down!! I get the 3 meat combo: Southside Rib tips, jalapeño cheddar... sausage, St Louis Style Ribs w/ Wilbur Beans and Mac ‘n Cheese! My absolute FAVORITE side dish is the “drunken apples”but it’s off the menu! We just ate here was kinda skeptical at first reading reviews but I must say it was Great. Food was good appetizer we had was... deviled eggs and wings. I found this kind of plastic cap inside my mashed potatoes. I went back to talk with someone about it. The store manager came... and said she couldn't do anything about it, just give me another mashed potatoes. I'm disappointed and feel frustrated. She justsaid she didn't know where this thing came from. I wished she could've take the customers more seriously. Read more
Nvr knew they had a smoked bbq turkey! I ordered one and some sausage and ham. Was so delicious and juicy. They will have it... cooked or semi cooked, or do it how ever you want it. My new place for a turkey. Read more
Omg… I’ve never had this before and I have to stay I loved it so much???? My favorite was the fish and CORNBREAD muffins.... The platter was also a nice presentation. Can’t wait to have a get together, definitely returning. Read more
