Went to this location Friday 11/18/2022, preferred online 6 subs 4 fries 5 sodas 6 cookies for my co workers. Every sub had its... own personal request of toppings and how it was cooked. The group that day made every sub correctly and tasted great. Greatlyappreciated. Read more

Food is good but they can only get order correct occasionally. Ask for ?no onions? and we get onions. Ask for ?no meat? and we... get meat. The list goes on and on. But this is not only an issue with this location. Common problem at most cousins subs. When I spoke with a regional manager he said it was software issue - but that was a few years ago and issue continues. I didsend a note to customer service several days ago with no follow up. Makes me sad because we like the quality and supportinglocal but it is not worth getting food ?to go? and discovering errors after getting home. We should have given up on allCousins subs years ago. I went to this location expecting to be treated like a disruption instead of a guest, based on the fast food service industry... lately, but I was pleasantly surprised! I was welcomed right away at the counter by a very friendly employee (possibly manageror assistant manager) who had his facial hair properly covered for food service. He was patient while I tried to figure out whatmy husband wanted while I was on the phone w/ him and after I placed my order, I had to add something and it was done withutmost courtesy. The food was promptly prepared by another super friendly employee who also handed it to me. Everything wascorrect and delicious. Friendly, efficient and correct order. It's hard to find one out of 3 these days at a restaurant, butthis one nailed it! Good job Cousins on 74th and Layton! Read more

The lady making our subs didn't have gloves on and was sporting a bandage on her finger tip. We stopped her from continuing and... got a refund. The manager said he was too busy doing inventory to notice but never did make her put gloves on. Honestly, the experience was ok, sandwich was a total mess split in half and wrapped all crazy. I did feel the need to give 5... stars though just because of one WONDERFUL employee! Thank you so much Cole for taking my order today. Wonderful attitude,wonderful customer service skills, and wonderful leadership when talking to your team. I currently work at a Cousins not too far from this location, but I was in the area, so I thought I'd stop at this location. I... expected so much more, but was disappointed. There wasn't any greetings or conversation starters from the employees which wasn'twelcoming. The employees acted like they didn't want to be there. They were quiet, not talkative, and one employee had earbudsin their ear while working. The cashier didn't know what soups they had today or what flavors of shake they offered. Therewasn't any ice in the ice machine. There were crumbs on the tables and floors. My boyfriend ordered a steak philly which didn'tcome with much meat. I ordered a sandwich and a bowl of broccoli, which was very thick and a brown color rather than a yellowcolor. From my experience, they were either low on broccoli or haven't been stirring it often and letting it sit. I would beembarrassed if I served the soup that was given to me because I know how things should be. I will not be coming to this locationagain and would reccomend a different Cousins Subs. Read more
