Steak n Shake managers better start checking these reviews or this place will be going out of business. This place has gone so... far down hill. Signs need adjusted to actual hours open. Random hours closed even at 5pm in evening on weekday. No longer servechicken strips or lemons for water. Water no longer free. $1.29 small and $2.49 medium for water when I can see charging forcup/straw like McDonald?s for 25c but $2.49 for water that?s free out of tap come on. Drive through is ridiculously slow to thepoint it seems people have to be standing around chatting and not working because it doesn?t take 30 mins to cook a hamburger.If you are going to stay open either fix the issues or permanently close. People deserve service that they are paying for. Ihaven?t been inside to see the new kiosk but if that?s the case I also won?t be returning. I go out to eat and pay for serviceon my day off work. I?m not doing free labor when I expect to be waited on on my day off. Managers this is a corporate issue youneed to handle. Waited forever in drive through for cold food. I won?t be returning. The food.was tastey and service was quick, but what I ordered wasn't right. I let the wait staff know and it still wasn't... right. Also no menu to look at. Had to lookat a menu online to even order. Not good for people who don't rely on phones to doeverything for them. The price is good and affordable and the place was clean. Read more
Slow service. We waited 20-25 mins in drive thru lane to get 2 burgers. And it would be ok because we understand that everyone... is short staffed these days. However what we don?t understand is why our burgers are cold? Did we get old burgers that you guysdidn?t serve to other clients? Waste of time and money. Read more
Stopped in for a quick grab-n-go meal as we were limited on time. Had issues with kiosk but finally got order in only to get a... blank receipt. No order number or name. Then we stood and waited for 30 min watching the drive thru guys collect an run w theirstuff. We finally got someone's attention enough to tell them we want our money back so we could go elsewhere. They informed methat it wasn't possible, so I said " then please give my order" This then brought who I assume was the manager on the sceneasking me what I wanted. I repeated my request and it brought instant results for which I'm grateful. My past experiance withS&S had always been good with the orders being great, but this time not only was service pathetic but the burger I got was sothin you could almost see thru it. Reminded me of a white castle slider. I can't blame the workers, they were super busy and geta 5. Never ever go back. Kiosk to order and pay and then broke. Someone from the back came out to fill the order which was going to... be dine in but it took OVER a half hour from ordering on the kiosk. The tables were all filthy no salt no ketchup. Ordered nomayo got lots of mayo. Terrible experience. Bye bye steak and shake Read more
Sat behind another vehicle for 5 whole minutes waiting for the girl to take his order while only 3 total vehicles were in line. ... 1 car that had ordered already, him, and then us. He tried ordering a shake at 10:15 and was told the machine was down forcleaning. Nice... Especially with Shake being in the name of the restaurant. Finally our turn to order and was told it'd be aminute. Waited another 5 minutes to place our order. It wasn't busy at all.... Sat in drive thru to get food for an additional10 minutes. Over 20 minutes total at this location's drive thru. Absolutely ridiculous. Trust me, I give places breaks whenshort handed or busy but come on... Read more
Ordered a number one. I received pre cooked patties. [Cold patties] and undercooked cold fries. They are only getting an extra... star for the nice girl at the window. The part that sucks is that I have had a great smash burger here before. Hit and miss /roll of the dice each time I come here. I'll be back with high hopes. Please don't crush my dreams again. I?ve been trying to call for the last hour to let them know my order was wrong and wanted a refund half my order was missing and... the things I got wasn?t correctly prepared!
