It used to be pretty good, but of late, it's below mediocre. I went last week and the pulled pork, what little I got of it... (maybe 4 oz?), only smelled and tasted slightly of smoke. The beans could hardly be choked down - the smell and taste was wayoff - and now come in a paper cup barely the size of a baby's hand. It was our first time there as we are out of towners driving through, They made our anniversary lunch horrible, the reason we... stayed was my husband is diabetic and his sugar was dropping and we were starving and we didn?t know the area and we googledrestaurants and this place popped up first, and was closest to us. The young girls working that day were absolutely horrible!Very impersonal didn?t want to be there and definitely did not want to be taking orders. When asked what would be good to order,she had attitude and said i don?t know it?s up to you. When asked about the sides she couldn?t even tell us what they were justpointed to a wall where the menu was, as I said it was our first time we didn?t know what would be the best to order so we weretalking about it ( the ONLY ONES THERE WERE MY HUSBAND AND I) She was aggravated with us Being indecisive she said just get aplatter it?s bbq with no bun and two sides. So we figured what the heck we will give it a try so my husband said he wanted thatthe platter with a baked potato and beans she told him that he couldn?t have a baked potato with beans he had to chose one orthe other. So he picked baked potato and then she says they are out of baked potatoes and it will take 45 minutes to make one sohe will have to chose something else. He finally was able to order, I asked if the potato salad was good she said probably youwill just have to get it and see. We placed our order, got our drinks and my husband and I waited at the counter for our food(which is what she told us we had to do because she ain?t bringing it to us)when it was finally ready she brought it out and justslung it down on the counter instead of being pleasant she just said here and walked back in the back. How awesome is it as parents of 2 growing big eating boys to know that if our kids only have 5 bucks in their pocket they can... still come here and get more then enough amazing food!!!
