Large roomy place. Great, attentive service! Entrees come with soup & salad bar. We both got clam chowder and it was pretty... good. The salad bar had lots of choices! I had Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was good and was already sliced?which is great. Myhusband had Beef Stroganoff. He said it was good, although there was no sour cream taste to it at all, and that?s what makes itstroganoff. It looks like a muddy mess on the plate?ha! Large spacious, pleasant, nicely decorated dining area, two stories high. Good service. Omelette decent. Hashbrowns good -... cooked scattered with a little color, not mushy or greasy, some actual potato flavor. Large parking area adjacent, good forlarge rigs. But don't know who owns it. Read more
I came here to have the local cuisine, and I don't regret it. I ordered the build your own burger ???? Why a burger? The patty... is made of ground beef AND brisket!!! So I had to have it. I wasn't disappointed at all at the burger, fresh ingredients, greatmoist burger patty, good flavor. I had it with spicy mayo, bacon ???? and cheddar cheese ???? Plus lettuce, tomato ???? andpickles. Great flavor! I also ordered beer battered fries, and they were amazing, My mouth wanted to keep eating burgers but mystomach said enough! The service could of been better it took nearly 10 minutes for my server to come get my order and it wasjust me, I guess she thought I wasn't gonna give her a good tip. If it wasn't for that this place would of gotten 5 starts fromme. Read more
Solo traveler here: SO GOOD! I bought the quesadilla bites because it comes with a blackberry dipping sauce, so I just had to... try it. Odd but delicious! The Hitching Post had excellent choices for lunch, baskets of breaded chicken or shrimp and also an array of sandwiches. The... Breaded Beef Strips were very tasty and came with a side. What made them so delicious was the special Bloody Mary sauce! Theydid a beautiful job decorating inside, very Western! Kami provided smiling service, altogether a very good meal! Read more
Personable service. Fair pricing. My Cajun pasta was fabulous. The salad bar was good. Cherry pie was a grade above average.
Delicious salad bar that is fresh and fully loaded. We only come every few months and the quality and service is consistent.... Really enjoy the food. Patty melt & chicken fried steak were great. Read more
