Los Banditos offers decent food overall. A little more spicy then what I would prefer at times but manageable. The atmosphere... reminds me of a mix of an older super club and my grandparents basement... It's just gives you an old school feel. The specialtytacos I had where jerk chicken tacos. They where delicious overall but for $10 you get 2 tacos with no sides. The menu is a mixof Mexican food, American and Italian. I would say definitely not a traditional Mexican restaurant but the food is decent. Read more
Friday nights are very busy and we waited ~45 minutes for a table and our food took a while. I'd go back during a slower time,... but even with the crowd the service and food was great! We were able to sit at the bar while we waited and service/staff werefriendly and attentive. The chili con queso and tacos tasted great! They offer daily food/drink specials. Read more

My family has been going to Los Banditos for over 30 years, and usually it is superb. Today we had a waitress that is newer... within the last year or so (probably the 3rd time we've had her) our food was not hot, nor was she very attentive to us. When mymother asked if she could light the little candle on the table her response was "if I get time". Which is crazy for a waitressto say to a customer. I would have understood if it was busy in there, but it was not busy at all. We had to constantly ask foranything we needed, and then had to wait 10 minutes each time we needed something. We have decided we need a new spot for ourweekly outings. Which sucks because we go to Los Banditos every Friday night in the fall and winter months for the last 10 yearsfor sure and sporadically prior to that. Since Doc retired the quality of service and food has just steadily been going down. Sosad. Read more
Really would like to give a better review but our experience would not warrant this. Ordered our drinks. Soda and Mojito. She... rushed us through ordering so quickly that we didn't even get a chance to give her our appetizer order. She brought my mojitoand I should have looked at it first. However, my mouth was on fire from the salsa i tried and I just had to put the fire out!As you can see from my pictures the mint was rotten. It tasted like soap and no alcohol. We immediately decided to leave whenthe water tasted bad like soap too. This is our wedding anniversary dinner and we don't want to take any chances of possiblygetting sick. We brought it to the attention of the waitress right away. She told us one of the owners happened to be there andshe rushed to go show them the drink and talk. After she talked to the owner about it and returned to our table we offered topay for the entire order but would not be eating it. She said no, there would be no charge and apologized profusely. Iunderstand that sometimes things happen but this was too many mistakes in a row for me. I also found it odd the owner didn'tcome talk to us themselves. That may have redeemed them in my eyes. Now it just shows the lack of care or interest in their ownbusiness. If they don't care about the restaurant then we definitely made the right decision to leave and I am hard pressed tobother with them again. So disappointed. Read more
Los is my absolute favorite for steak tacos. It was a tradition I shared with my Mom & my own kids. Their mango margaritas are... my favorite - no one can make them as good as they do. Read more
Two different meals, but they looked almost the same! Can you see the tamales? What about the Chile Relleno? Personally, I did... not care for the red sauce and cheese all over the place, it really took away from the flavor. The whole plate basically tastedthe same. Read more
We got there about 8:45pm and when we sat down our waitress Heidi rushed us to order stating they are closing the kitchen at 9.... I had three other family members joining us so I had to call them to get there order. Our appetizers came at the same time asour food and when they brought our entrees we were missing a whole plate. We brought this to our waitress's attention and sherudely stated well I'm not bringing it out so one of our family members had to watch us all eat and because we were upset andmade a deal of it she said keep it up and I'll cancel your fried ice cream and cheesecake (we had ordered). She never broughtour dessert, never refilled our empty drinks, and ended up upsetting my little guy so bad he cried. I can't believe what ahorrible experience we had here. What a waste of our time and money and we can't get either back. Read more
