The service is ok, the beer I had was good, but the food left a lot to be desired. The Brussels Sprouts we're just drowning in... sauce, so any crispness they may have had was gone (when the basket they were in was moved there was actually puddle of sauce onthe table that had soaked through the paper, we were told it happens every time). The grilled cheese tasted pretty good, but wasroom temperature so the cheese wasn't melty. My side of Mac and cheese was so cold that the thin layer of shredded cheese theysprinkled on top had not melted at all. That seems like a very easy thing for the kitchen staff or waiter to notice beforedelivering the food, but they didn't. When I asked for it to be heated up it still wasn't back by the time we'd finished ourmeal. Wouldn't recommend. Read more

Pleasantly surprised by quality food found at copper state brewing. For starters we had the Bavarian style pretzel paired with... apple cider and spotted cow beer( WI beer). Finished things off with the Bison Burger ?phenomenal?, will visit again!???? Read more

We had the best meal of our visit to Green Bay while we were here for lunch. Superb food and beer, EXCEPTIONAL service! The guy... who greeted us at the door (didn?t get his name - bearded) was incredibly friendly and chatted with us for a while as we gotsettled at the table. We were waited on quickly by Thomas, who was also very friendly and attentive. Our drink orders wereplaced and fulfilled quickly. The food was outstanding. We ordered curds, bruschetta, and two pizzas - Thailandia and Fraterno. Both were good! The Thailandia would win out if I had to pick one. For beers, we tried out the Frazzled and the Fruited Sourfrom the rotating menu to start, then had a flight of four with our meal: Pilsner, Pomegranate, Coffee, and Chocolate-PeanutButter. The C-PB was so good we walked out with a four pack of cans! Great spot, and I would love to hang out for the PubTheology hosted by Copper State and St. Mark?s as well. Super cool local spot! This is more of a bar / brewery / restaurant with a coffee stand inside! It has a rustic vibe and a decent amount of seating... inside and outside (when the weather is nice); and they have some merchandise for sale too. I haven't tried any of their food, but I have had a cappuccino and a chai latte which were both really good. They have another location in Appleton that is morecafe style on College Ave. Read more

We got flights of their beers. Good brews. The large fireplaces at either end of the open space with a moose bust over the fire... and an elk gives Hinterland a Lodge feel with a modern flare. Fun place. Read more

The pizza here is absolutely exquisite. Great friendly staff, and a beautiful building that reminds you of a simpler time. We... also had an amazing burger. What stood out to me was how the bun was toasted to perfection. This is the type of place you couldstay for hours. Bravo! Read more

This was my first visit to Copper State, which will also be my last. I could tell, early on that this may have been a poor... choice. Delays in being seated were followed by an extraordinarily long delay in receiving drinks. Our order for $17 burgers wasplaced and it was served, within a reasonable time, with BURNT rolls/buns. My guest asked, nicely, only for another roll. Ratherthan taking the sandwiches back to the kitchen, or offering replacement sandwiches, the waiter departs to return later, withun-warmed or toasted rolls... Now came MY task to attempt a reassembly of my sandwich on a cold roll. After summoning thewaiter, again, we asked what we were to do with these cold rolls and sandwiches which had cooled. He had no response. We askedto see a manager, but the manager was said to be working the kitchen... and he walked away. Upon returning he became indignantand refused to even listen to our concerns, claiming that HE had never been treated so badly in a fine dining restaurant. Hestormed off, again ignoring our attempts to communicate calmly. He returns shortly to inform us that "It's all free" and toldus that we "can leave anytime." We did, never to return. A rude waiter trumps burnt buns at Copper State. BTW, there's a GREATbrew pub right across the street! Read more

Great atmosphere. Wait staff very friendly. Good beer selection. Had this large pretzel appetizer. It was very good.
