Typical Great Falls rip off, tiny pieces high prices. Quality is average at best.. as is atmosphere and service.

We ordered takeout from here for the first time. Really horrible food!!! Chicken teriyaki was undercooked, bland and gross.... California roll had some gross sauce over it (not as a side), so my kids hated it! Overall we trashed most of the food. Wouldnever revisit this or recommend to anyone. Read more

Izumi is incredibly middling sushi and it is a shame that this place has a stronghold on GF. The customer service is lackluster... as I have been turned away at 2 PM multiple times when the restaurant is scheduled to close mid-day at 2:45 PM. Overpriced forthe quality. Can find much better options in McLean such as Ichiban or Tachibana. Hope they make positive changes. An actuallywell run establishment should kill it with such a prime location and clientele. Food at Izumi is and always has been fantastic. Love having it delivered to my house. I?ve eaten at the restaurant 4 times. The... first 3 were pre-COVID, with great food and okay service. For my most recent visit - last week (late May 2022) - the food wasstill great. However, even though the restaurant was practically empty, they messed up our order and provided service that wasrude and dismissive. Considering that Great Falls is a small community, where word of mouth is critical to a business?s successor failure, it was surprising and disappointing to see and experience this type of service. And it wasn?t just my party thatdealt with the staff?s bad behavior. While I was there, I witnessed them behave the same way to other patrons. Quitedisappointing. Read more

I've eaten many times at Izumi since they opened 10 years ago. This is the only Japanese restaurant in Great Falls and that's... part of the reasons we keep going back. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Service used to be bad but has gotten better. Read more
